Doesn't look that bad. It might actually make up for the disappointing Land of the Dead.

Looks good. The one few things that I liked in the remake of Dawn of the Dead was seeing the news clips of the choas over the world when the dead came back and this one looks like they used that. Looks like its gonna be fun and scary once again as it should be.

Doesnt look too bad. Looks to have that oldschool Romero feel that perhaps Land was lacking even though I thought it was a decent film. Getting Romero back to his roots of loose filmmaking is probably just what the doctor ordered.

Big Romero fan.
Alittle disappointing though that he didnt go the way of Land and attempt to land a big name for the film. Someone who could've saved the people doing the documentary. Bringing in Arnie would've been perfect for this film cuz he never did Horror movies all that much outside of End of Days.

Saw this on myspace earlier. If you didn't see the trailer there, Romero talks about a short film contest he's doing where the winner will be featured on the DVD release.

Shoulda hit the '07 Zombie Fest at the Expo Mart. Big reunion. Had 'em all up on stage, too in a big audience-driven discussion.
...And you could have caught the BIOPHAGE viewing as well!

I was there early on Saturday. I got everyone's autographs. I was looking forward to seeing your movie @ 5 or so. My gf was being a total wench that day and we left early around 3.
I bought an original Fulci Zombi 2 poster that day for $50!

There's only been a few movies. Blair Witch had a few ripoffs soon after it came out, but besides those what have we really seen. As for Cloverfield and Diary of the Dead, they're equal parts POV filming and regular movie filming.

Oh, it will. Cloverfield's "sucess" will inspire many more wanna-bes to do their films in that form. No doubts there... :dsp:

Strike my last comment about it getting a wide release. Apparently it'll be limited, but I'm sure it'll expand over time, like The Orphanage did.
