What do you guys do on the weekends? (for the most part)

Tons o' shit to do here in NYC (more so in the summer). I like to go see live bands in little clubs with my girl. Grab some bar food and suck down a few Absolut and pineapples.

If not that, then it's usually a flick and dinner somewhere.

Weekends usually means I can sleep through most of the day or do things I don't normally get to do during the week, cuz the weekends are when my mom takes my place and watches my son since she's off. I try to get most done during the weekend, I.E. work on the page, watch more flicks, etc.

My second job is a freelance gig, so I tend to work.

Friday night we do our shopping, just to have the weekend off to relax. Makes Friday suck and boring, but the stores are emptier and the payoff overall is worth it.

On the remaining two days I play toys with my kid, beg my wife to play toys with he, utter "I understand" to my wife and go back to work, get a little Wii time in, and stare at the piles of laundry.

Weekend ended being shitty. It was my 20th on Saturday so me and some friends hit the clubs, and they turned out to be dead. Shit music was being played which stopped me from being in the mood from partying and drinking. So I just wanted to go to bed cuz I was that bored. The highlight of the night though was in the kebab shop. This uber drunk guy asked for a cheese kebab, was funny shit.

Sunday I had to wake up early and walk 30 minutes with my mate so he could manage the football team he's in charge of which they lost 11-1 due to the fact they only had ten players, then soon to 9 players because this 13 year old kid went in for a 50-50 challenge and came out with a broken ankle so I had to wait out the front for an ambulance so they could take him to hospital.

So...great way to celebrate my birthday. Not getting drunk and using the "recovery" period to help look after a kid who's ankle didn't fancy staying attatched to itself.
