Who will be this year's ultimate goat in the world of sports? The nominees are:
Brett Favre

Favre returned for the 2007 season after talking about retirement for the better part of the previous three. After once again making fans think he was about to ride off into the sunset, he returned to throw the game-losing interception for his Packers against the New York Giants, who were heavy underdogs in the NFC Championship Game.
Tiki Barber

Barber retired after the 2006 season, citing health preservation as the reason why. After trashing his coach and team once the door was firmly shut behind him, his team made it to the Super Bowl and won the very next season without him.
Roger Clemens

After sitting back and watching players like Barry Bonds get trashed for alleged steroid use while Clemens continued to accept praise for his own play, Clemens was outed as a steroid user himself after being named in Major League Baseball's "Mitchell Report." Clemens is expected to be stupid enough to lie under oath about his steroid use and be consequentially thrown into a jail cell within the next two years.
The New England Patriots

They won a ton of championships, more than anyone else in recent memory, and then they blew one against the Giants in their bid for 19-0. Now, they have to deal with being called "chokers!" by all the people who can hardly remember the last time their team even made it to the Super Bowl, never mind win one (or three).
