When I got my HDTV from Best Buy, they threw in a complimentary insignia surround system for free. It's a cheap POS, but I figured, hey, it's free. Anyway, it's done alright, had some slight problems with it like it turning completely off when I was turning the volume down. I moved back home and hooked everything up, and it did alright for a few days.

Just today, while playing CoD4, it's been doing strange, strange shit. It changes channels, switching from AV1 to AV2, then to an AM receiver. Then, the volume changes, going up and down, over and over. Then it'll switch off, then on, then off again. There's no pattern; it does everything randomly.

The remote was sitting on the table in front of me, so I know nobody was fuckin with me. Does anybody have any clue WTF is going on?

Ive never heard of a channell changing on you. Maybe you need to call that little chick from Poltergiest.

Me neither. It's kinda crazy. Just to clarify, I meant audio channel. If it was changing tv channels I'd be calling a priest.

I first thought my friend was sitting on the remote. Then I noticed the remote across the room. We both gave each other the WTF look.

I plugged the audio jacks from channel 1 into the second channel and it's been working, so I don't know what the hell is up. I think it's just because it's a POS. But it was a free POS.

At least you didn't buy it used from a garage sale or anything. Unless Best Buy did :shakes:

POS. My HDTV is taking full advantage of my surround sound.

F best buy. The only reason they gave it to me free was so not to blow the sale. It was a display model and they lost the speakers for it. Morons. They threw in so much warranty and shit that I ended up spending about $1,000 on $3,000 worth of shit. And I have a no questions asked warranty for 2 and a half more years.
