Rothlisberger will be getting the David Carr treatment next season. Losing a top Guard kills your team. Losing Hutch really fucked us.

Probably why AP was so good.

Probably why AP was so good.
No Adrian Peterson is just greatness. Hutch doesn't hurt, but AP blows up defenders.

nah I'm sure we will be all good... yea we r gonna need help at that pos. but Steelers r pretty good at lettin' ppl good when they r past their prime. Still We still need some OLINE, but I can't complain wit what we got so far.

I have the Bears taking an OL or a RB in the first.
.
Well you pretty much got it right going OL 1st and RB second. I'm actually glad with the picks. I like Forte and hopefully he helps get benson off his unmotivated ass.

Steelba was money in the draft except for when it came to the Seahawks.
I'm happy wit my draft so far, now when I go to the Cowboys Vs Steelers game I got some new talent to watch... And I'm Def. gonna get a Limas Sweed Jersey! I'm tellin' ya that guy is gonna be big!
Max Payne
04-27-2008, 03:12 AM
I love when the Pats pick up CB that are under 6 feet tall, in fact this Wheatley guy is only an inch taller then me and I find it hard to imagine being a good CB with that height, no matter how athletic, smart and good you are.
Ellis Hobbs doesnt exactly scare anyone, and Wheatley was compared to him in all the pre draft hype.
Hopefully some trades go down tomorrow.

steelba

Well atleast this pick wasn't sooo terrible. Stealers traded down to the Giants.
IKickAssForTheLord
04-27-2008, 01:24 PM
I didn't even notice... u know what they got for it?
Tryin' to make phone calls to get some Mary Jane.
steelba
04-27-2008, 01:28 PM
Tony Hills OT was the pick no word on compensation. probably a 6 or 7.
They go after their biggest need in the 4th round, hmmm.
IKickAssForTheLord
04-27-2008, 01:29 PM
its all good...They couldn't draft any Oline where they were... so they took the best available. I ain't worried.
steelba
04-27-2008, 01:31 PM
Boy the Stealers fans on cbs sportsline forum are not happy with the first 2 picks. They are bashing the shit out of Limas, saying he's more fragile than a glass vase.

well hopefully at the bears pick up some QB in the later rounds..
We could pick up John David Booty, though he really isn't all that and he has a rediculous sounding name.
Sounds like some kind of awful name for a shitty pirate. I can see the headlines in the paper tomorrow if we draft him, cant wait to see all the stupid booty call puns in the headlines tomorrow.
At least his name isn't john jacob MCAssReamer.
steelba
04-27-2008, 01:55 PM
Vikings draft Booty. They were talking about Chicago not taking a QB and wondering why they didn't. They said there stuck between Orton and Grossman and thats how it's looking for the Bears fans right now.
Joker
04-27-2008, 02:22 PM
<----- :( was gonna make a Booty call pun.
I do think there is a reason why all the recievers fell to the 2nd round this year.
IKickAssForTheLord
04-27-2008, 02:41 PM
okay now I'm not too happy... r u kiddin' me steelers?!? U gonna draft Dennis Dixon?!? We do not need a QB! Atleast take Andre Woodson if u gonna take a QB geez.
steelba
04-27-2008, 02:43 PM
lol, that just hit espn. they all said Dennis Dixon, Whao!!
IKickAssForTheLord
04-27-2008, 02:45 PM
haha yea I said the same thing... WHOA!! they better use him for trick plays and shit... he ain't takin' Big Ben's Place I know that!
steelba
04-27-2008, 02:49 PM
They need some innsurance with ben behind that shaky line. Int's or injuries are bound to happen, when he gets sacked all day.
IKickAssForTheLord
04-27-2008, 02:51 PM
NO U HUSH DAMNIT!! That isn't gonna happen... he will throw 25+ Tds and 10-INT. probably sacked 40 times... thats how its gonna work out and we will go to the playoffs again! don't u jinx my shit damnit!
steelba
04-27-2008, 02:53 PM
It's just that I've seen first hand what happens when you lose a top tier guard, you give up sacks and injuries occour. Hasselbeck hadn't been injured before Hutch left, then bam! Ben is gonna get creamed facing the Jags and all those other stout defense behind a patch work O line. Atleast a few concusions.
IKickAssForTheLord
04-27-2008, 02:54 PM
Just keep em to ya self... and when it happens u just say "I told you so"
steelba
04-27-2008, 02:59 PM
Fine...
I'll avoid picking Parker in the 1st round in FF this year.
He stunk it pretty bad last year, even with Faneca.
IKickAssForTheLord
04-27-2008, 03:04 PM
yea he might not have gottin' the TD's... but before he got injured wasn't he leadin' the league in rushin' yards? I could be wrong though.
Nice job on pickin' up that FB :D

Booty = smallest hands in draft, 14 on Wonderlic
Pretty stoked about all the Pack's picks so far, especially J-Mike.

04-27-2008, 04:10 PM
Nice job on pickin' up that FB :D
He benches 350lbs and smashed 11 helmets in college :D
We needed someone to replace the great Mack Strong. Leanord WEaver is iffy at FB.
The 6th pick a long snapper :die:

yea Owen is a crazy dude. I think he will do good. Yea the guy looks like a beast! but yea a LS?!? haha now that sucks.
Steelers just drafted a safety... geez... if we gonna draft a safety I rather have that dude in the Army Caleb Campbell. Guy looks pretty fuckin' big. But so far I'm alright wit what we drafted. I really wish we could have gottin' a OL in the 1st round but what can u do. I'm just pretty much happy wit my 1st 2 picks. Help out the O.

Did that Army guy even get drafted?
He needs to just go to war. Seriously who joins west point and is afraid to goto war?

.
Small hands or not the guy already plays closer to a pro system than most of the QB's taken before him, played top tier talent, and just look at his record.
I would still take him before Brohm who has had his share of injuries.

didn't know where else to put this, but this shit is crazy
Marvin Harrison allegedly involved in Philadelphia Shooting.
I guess he didn't actually shoot the guy, but his gun was used in the shootin' and hit the guy in the hand. His gun is custom made gun, fires 50 cali bullets. Shit is like a cannon. And somebody on the scene said Marvin beat this man pretty badly, and said "He Had Hands Like A Ninja"

I could say alot of things but for now we dont know all the details so I'll just watch and see what comes of this.
IKickAssForTheLord
05-02-2008, 04:45 PM
Yea, I'm hearin' different stories... at first I heard he shot him, then I hear he didn't shoot him. But I mean Marvin geez wouldn't expect that. I guess he owns 50+ guns. But its crazy... Custom Beljin 50 Cal Gun. That would leave a nice hole. But as for right now, He isn't bein' charged wit anythin'.

Big break for the Pats on spygate if everything here turns out correct, falls into place and Walsh muffs at that meeting with Goodell.

The Pats are cheaters, they got caught cheating, then they tryed to win the SB without cheating and lost. THat pretty much ends the story.
Max Payne
05-08-2008, 03:16 AM
amazing though, if you can get to the superbowl without cheating?
nothing is coming out of this, how can the nfl punish the pats for tapes from 2000-2002 for a policy that was created in 2007?
this is just so fucking old, and the only thing keeping this alive is espn still trying to pretend that sports can be covered like its fucking news, every day i like that network less and less, in fact outside of espnews the entire company is worthless.
cant wait for camps to start so the pats can pick up some of the better players who get released.

I suppose in the end it really makes it hard for further punishment to placed on the organization unless Walsh comes up with something worthwhile when the meeting finally happens.
