I'm registered as non partisan so I didn't vote but if I would have I would have went for Hillary Clinton. Had I voted for Republican I would have went with Ron Paul.

Well.... i cannot vote.
But in my opinion they are all slaves.
The best thing i ever heard michael moore say was (pre-extrmist)"280 million people in the united states and there is two government funded parties, what a joke."

She won't like his middle name then...
I attended the Kansas Caucus for Obama. (My 'voting station' expected 500 people. But despite the 30 degree mist we all stood in, more than 3000 showed up. Quite fun.)

I'm Democrat, so I'm voting Democrat since the only thing I agree with Republicans on is that abortion is immoral and should be outlawed. I looked up Barack Obama on Wikipedia last night, and I may vote for him. My mom says that he's suspicious simply because his last name sounds suspiciously like "Osama". But unlike her, I actually checked him out.
People that judge someone just on their name alone are morons. No offense.

your mom's mind set and ppl like her is why there are so many problems in the world...cause he has a name that sounds like a terrorist she is suspicious.

Barack could save himself a lot of problems with adding one little piece of punctuation to his name... If he just added an appostrophy to his last name, he'd be Barack O'Bama and people would think he's Irish... There! Problem solved.
As it looks like Ron Paul has a snowball's chance in hell of getting the nomination, it looks like I'll probably go for Obama (or O'Bama, if it makes you more comfortable.) I despise Romney, Fuckleberry, McCaine, and Clinton... All of'em are bilderbergers... pretty sure Obama is too, but by then it'll be a case of voting for the lesser of two evils yet again.
I really wish we could have just one election where I'm voting for someone I'm really excited to vote for, not just voting for someone I hate a little less than the other guy....

For a while, we did, Colbert was serious about running. Sad he failed.

Michigan's Democratic party decided to get into a pissing contest with the DNC and, contrary to the national rules, bump its primary ahead of Feb 5th. They figured this would force the state into relevancy in the grand scheme of things. They were warned they'd lose their delegates as a result, but they figured it was a bluff.
It wasn't.
No delegates, and in deference to the national organization's decision, Obama, Richardson, Biden, and Edwards withdrew from the ballot. Voters were left with Clinton, Dodd, Gravel, Kucinich, or "Uncommitted."
Clinton "won," but in a pretty telling display, 40% of the voters came out just to vote "Uncommitted."

Hopefully Ron Paul will decide to run as an independent if he doesn't get the republican nomination. That would be where my vote would go come election time. I'm not even going to waste my time picking the lesser of two evils, so hopefully it won't have to be that way.

Ron Paul is pretty much a Libertarian running as a Republican. (I would lean Libertarian if they weren't so willing to use anger as a tool.) If Paul doesn't go that route then you may still want to check out the L candidate. There will be one.
I may end up voting Libertarian anyway. Hell, I may even register that way this year.
If Hillary gets the Democratic nomination then I'm definitely voting Republican, hands down. And although I'm less reserved about Obama, he seems just as willing to paint success as evil and preach the value of the lowest common denominator.
2004 I voted for Bush. Not so much out of partisanship, but because his badly designed plans were better than angry promises of plans to come.

i dunno what the whole republican and democratic thing means :ahheh:
In a nutshell:
Democrats = bleeding heart whiners / Communist scum.
Republicans = greedy corporate bastards / Jesus freaks.

While Knight is pretty much dead on, Lewis Black put it in the simplest explanation, "a democrat blows and a republican sucks."
A Democrat stands up and says, "I've got a really bad idea!" Then a Republican stands up and says, "And I can make it shittier!"

not old enough to vote yet, but I will be in time for the actual Presidential Election.

I'm not affiliated with a party because being a part of a single party is dumb so i'm not allowed to vote in primaries because my state is closed. I would have voted for Obama. If Clinton wins the primary i'm voting republican and if Clinton wins in November i'm officially Canadian :) For the country's sake i hope obama wins remember the last 20 years Bush SR., Clinton, Bush Jr., How about something different?

I voted for my boy Obama. I'm not exactly a Hillary hater, but I want a candidate who won't result in a landslide republican victory.
I'm glad that racist piece of shit Ron Paul didn't spark the revolution people thought he would. It's time for everyone to let that coot be forgotten.

I thought the same thing especially being from California where Presidents are made before our votes are counted or polls are closed. There was one state though that between Clinton and Obama the difference was 10k votes. That's pretty damn close. but yeah 1 person doesn't make a difference but if everyone thinks that way it does

I remember that faithful day, Jack Nicholson called my house telling me to vote for Clinton.
