Favorite Fight Scene in a Movie...

I was watching one of my favorite flicks today, which includes what has got to be one of my favorite fight scenes of all time... the movie is They Live and the scene I refer to, is where Piper is trying to get Keith to try on the sunglasses... and they proceed to just beat the living shit out of each other...

No fancy-schmancy martial arts, no spiffy choreography... just two guys doing whatever they can to come out on top... nut-kicks, biting, two-by-four, head-butts, and just a shitload of punching and kicking...

My wife pointed out one of the most endearing things about the scene is how the fight itself is just so slow paced... they beat the hell out of each other for a while, then pant and wince for while, then tear into each other again...

All in all, a damn fun scene to watch.

In 'Fight Club' when Edward Norton beats the fuck out of himself to blackmail his boss. Almost always bust a nut laughing during that shit.

Another scene I've always liked, because of the non-fancy way it was done, was the fight between Debo (Tiny Lister) and Craig (Ice Cube) from Friday... any fight where a dude smacks the other dude in the face with a brick is pretty damn cool in my book.

i was just talking about the They Live fight scene with a co-worker, def a classic, but one of my favorites is in Die Hard when Mcclane and Karl beat the shit out of each other and he hangs him from the chain at the end

A Bloody Aria; (can't remember the characters name) when the kid fights the "rednecks" who are torturing him, for the most part the fight is kept realistic and it gets a bit nasty when he starts smashing one of the bullies face against a rock.

Attack the Gas Station; the end fight between the gang, the delivery boys and the cops. Done more for comedy but still very entertaining.

What are you, retarded or something? Here let me break it down in terms that even you'll understand.

Kyoko vs. Yuki > 2LDK


Just kidding. Well about the movies anyways...Both have a similar concept but but if you look at them in terms of quality 2LDK is better. Kyoko vs. Yuki is low-budget, cheesy and completely over the top (it did come out before 2LDK though) but is still damn entertaining and in certain aspects, better than 2LDK.

Plus KvsY was made by Daisuke Yamanouchi who, if anything, is nothing short of a God amongst men. Or just a very perverted director. Depends on how you look at things.
