Caught the flick earlier and although it wasn't as bad as I expected, it was still pretty bad. Zombies that hop like frogs and crawl on ceilings and walls? C'mon! There was even one zombie hollering like a T-rex and dodging bullets :dsp:

Sounds like a great movie to watch with my uncle. He loves zombie movies and takes it as a personal offence when they suck,its pretty funny.

Hell he got so angry at House of the Dead you would of thought the damn movie ate his dog. It did suck all kinds of balls though in his defence.

when they are in the compound and see the video of the doctor thats with them, on this video he eventually turns into a zombie.....so how the fuck is he now at present time,the video was three days old, not a zombie anymore!

Granted, the movie was a fuckload better than Day Of The Dead: Contagion... that's not saying much.

First of all, this was not a remake, not even the slightest most infinitesimal use of the word... it wasn't even a rethinking of the original... it had absolutely dick in common with Day of the Dead.

I understand using some creative license when doing a remake... hell, the Dawn of the Dead remake took a hell of a lot of liberties with the original story, but at least it kept the same basic plot concept.

They throw in an underground lab at the end of the movie as an afterthought, and they think that makes this flick a remake?

They have two characters with the same name as a character in the original, that makes it a remake?

Oh! and don't get me started on "Bud" the friendly zombie.... BUD?!!! Did they kinda half-ass watch the original and just not get the name right? IT'S BUB, YA FUCKHEADS!!!!

And these goddamn super-zombies crawling up walls and zipping along the ceilings.... WHAT THE FUCK was THAT all about?!!! It's like the makers of this movie watched the Dawn of the Dead remake, saw the fast zombies, and thought "Hey! We gotta out-do THAT!!! I KNOW!!! We'll make'em be able to defy gravity!!! WOOHOO!!! SCORE!!!"

I don't know if this movie would annoy me so much if it had a different title and wasn't basically just a shitty ridiculous zombie flick that's trying to cash in on the remake trend by just calling itself a remake... perhaps it would... perhaps it wouldn't... I don't know if could have enjoyed it for its sheer ridiculousness or not... I doubt it though...

I'm rambling... this movie has me all flustered...
