Very unique French director known for his use of dreamlike imagery, poetic dialogue and a shitload of nudity. Grapes of Death is a somewhat forgotten Zombie flick from the 70s, which is quite original for the genre and worth checking out. Living Dead Girl and The Iron Rose are also among the top tier of his films and should be required viewing for Euro-horror fans. Anyone else enjoy his work?

I can't say I've been anything but disappointed by his movies... I'll read the plot description and think "Wow! You just can't fuck that kind of story up!!!" and lo and behold, he somehow manages to fuck it up..
I've seen, I think, 4 or 5 of his movies... Grapes of Death, Living Dead Girl, Demoniacs, Zombie Lake... and true, there is plenty of titty in his movies, but his flicks are excruciating dull, drab, boring and awful... at least in my opinion...
To each their own, I suppose..

Yeah, I can understand, they're slow... not for everyone. Though I don't think Zombie Lake is very represnative of his style.

I have to agree, I don't find his movies completely awful but damn does it feel like it takes all day to watch one of his movies.
I've seen Living Dead Girl, Night of the Hunted, Bacchanales Sexuelles, Nude Vampire, Rape of the Vampire, Requiem of the Vampire, Virgin Among the Living Dead and Zombie Lake.
