This CANT be true.

February 13, 2008 - The Bond films have always been grist for some of the wildest products of the rumor mill, and today's is perhaps the biggest one churned out yet. It's no secret that Quantum of Solace, the 22nd James Bond film, will see 007 (Daniel Craig) in pursuit of the head of the terrorist network established in Casino Royale. Most fans had expected that big man to be Dominic Greene, the villain played in QoS by Mathieu Amalric. But what if Greene isn't the top dog?

Ain't It Cool News is reporting a rumor that a certain Oscar winner will make a climactic cameo in QoS as the boss of the terrorist network. According to the site's scooper, that role will be played by none other than the Godfather himself, Al Pacino.

Pacino will reportedly shoot his cameo at Pinewood Studios sometime in April or May. We've no idea if it's true, but you've got to admit that it's fun to read about nevertheless.

Pacino in a Bond film?

Something different which is fine with me.

The last few before the Craig era seemed to be about getting high profile celebs opposite of Brosnans Bond. Maybe they feel this will be the way to go with this era.
