That's not what I read -- from what I read it was due to scheduling conflicts, which makes more sense, because if she didn't like the script she wouldn't have agreed to even be involved with it in the first place.

Yeah I heard it was scheduling conflicts on the news today. I have no idea why they would mention this movie when you never hear anything about movies on it, but maybe the radioperson likes Raimi and thought it was important to say that he's back to horror.

Pretty good replacement, she's a really good actress as well. Plus they both remind me of each other, same sorta look I guess (Lohman's way hotter though).

sux Ellen won't be in this cuz I was lookin forward to that, but Alison is a great replacement and she does resemble Ellen and shes also a good actress so its obvious they know what kind of character they want.

Yeah match stick men was great but at this point, it's all about the script. If it misses the mark, no matter who the actress is; no saving it. And the whole supernatural thing got me iffy. I hope there's an oldschool feel to it.
