Surprisingly good movie, despite a lot of the negative slack it has gotten. Pegg is funny as usual, along with a couple decent supporting characters. A majority of the jokes either worked or were somewhat amusing, so I was fairly entertained throughout the entire flick. The story is simple, though, it was a bit over-the-top and predictable towards the end. Regardless, an enjoyable flick.

I dunno. The fact that it's a RomCom kinda threw me. But I really like Pegg.

Not much romance in there to be honest. Pegg tries to win back his ex, but that's pretty much the extent of it, since it just involves him prepping to run a marathon.

I just finished it and I also thought it was a good movie. This movie was a bit more tame for Simon Pegg IMO, but still a good watch.

I like both Simon Pegg and David Schwimmer (They were great in Big Nothing btw), gonna be fun to see this one. Schwimmer isn't a bad director.

I just watched it, and it was good, it did actually have quite alot of romantic stuff, but it was made better than in the usual movies.

Also (SPOILER) I like it how he didn't just get the girl for finishing the race, but they really just became closer as people. Other movies always make it seem like they have been together for years in just a second 'cause someone does something sudden and out of character. (END SPOILER)

I've seen a lot of romance flicks over the years and this movie still stands as more of a comedy than romance. Maybe the romantic stuff kicks up towards the end, but in my opinion, there was still barely any romance.
