CS3 Premiere Audio Problem

Just got CS3 and in Premiere my files aren't playing audio. Any ideas?

So your video files are only playing audio and not showing video?

haha sorry very vague just kinda mad about it. I can import the files fine and the wave lengths are shown and the audio bar shows output but there is nothing coming of my headphones. It's on a new HP could it be the sound card? Should I just uninstall then re-install?
