One of my favorite elements of horror is the cat and mouse chase scenes. Some great ones that come to mind:
TCM (original) especially when Sally gets her hair caught in the bushes
F-13 part 2 great climactic chasing with Ginny
Prom Night - The whole scene with the blonde chick
I Know What You Did....- The Sarah Michelle Gellar chase is badass
you guys have any favs?

I agree with the IKWYDLS chase, always liked it. I also liked Rene Zellwegger's chase scene in TCM: Next Generation with her hanging off the electrical wires and such.

Not a very good movie but I thought that Murder Set Pieces when he's chasing the little girl in his house was pretty intense. High Tension has some effective chase scenes even though they're short.

Yeah, the original Halloween chase was good. I remember when I first watched it I was all tense when no one would open her door for her. Those bastards.

One of my favorite scenes in any horror film (and I know you all hate this) is from Scream 2, with Courtney Cox in the TV/radio station. Very very cool cat and mouse game there.

Rear Window when Grace Kelly enters "Lars Thorwald's" apartment is intense. I guess you can call it a chase scene. It's very psychological when you look at how James Stewart's character reacts to this happening and he can't do anything about it.
Wrong Turn or Wrong Turn 2 had a fun chase scene also. I can't remember what movie it's actually from.

I shall recommend this to all. Quite the sleeper.

Best chase scene: Non-horror
Point Break:
Johnny Utah (Keanu) chasing Bodhi (Swayze)
Horror:
Cemetery zombie chasing Barbara in the original NOTLD.

The little slasher, Curtains, has a couple of decent chases in it, even though it's not that great of a film. The ice skating scene is pretty tense, and so is the one at the end where the killer is chasing one of the last girls through the prop rooms in the basement.
