Well, Omar finally got it. After four seasons he finally got it by a young punk in the recent episode. I knew something was up when they kept going back to Omar and that punk kid was looking up at him walking by. I suppose it's fitting in a way, especially since the only way he could be "got" was if he had his guard down, which he never did, but of course he did this time since he didn't expect some kid like that to take him out. Although it's sad to see a cool lead character go like that, it's better off than to see him taken out by those hired goons. I actually expected him to go last season anyway.

Things are stirring for McNulty and it looks like Marlo's reign is finally coming to a close. Only two more eps and this great series is over. :mecry:

I know there are a lot of people here that watch this show, so I dunno why more aren't commenting. Anyway, another solid episode, and more characters are wrapping up. I'm surprised they haven't shown that lil' kid that shot Omar since it happened. He'll probably make some kind of appearance before the show ends. Looking forward to the last ep next Sunday.Hopefully it'll be over an hour, but I doubt it.

Good episode last night. Not really a regular with this show but I like watching series finales. So far so good.

I'm gonna have to catch this last season on dvd hopefully on blu-ray which i'm sure it will. I just want to know did Chris or Snoop get it at all this season or not always had a feeling something could happen to either one of them or they will get locked up or something?.

Pretty much everyone is finally meeting their end. So far, Snoop got shot in the head by a young new recruit named Michael, who was introduced last season. Chris is currently in jail with Marlo. We'll see what happens to them on Sunday.

Well, it's finally over. As I suspected, Michael is now the new Omar and his friend is the new Bubbles, showing that it's just a viscous never-ending circle. Even though Marlo gave up his "crown" it looks like he can't give up the street. The rest of the characters had proper ends, some dying, some stepping down, and some getting promotions. Great series, with a great finale. Sad that it's all over now, but at least it went out on top. :drunks:

Was a good finale. You said it best.

Only shows to watch on HBO now are In Treatment and Big Love IMO. I suspect Big Love goes through a 3rd season with slight chances of a 4th. In Treatment has been really good, who knows how far that will go.
