I love the original. I dunno about this, but if its got gore, boobs and cool special effects like the original it'll atleast be worth a watch I guess. Angela as a demon better resemble the original Angela damn it.

It might be good if it has a decent budget. I would way rather see this then say Saw 5.
There is definatly room for improvement upon the low budget original. I liked the original alot, but it was not a classic and could be improved. I mean look at The Hills Have Eyes, it was a great remake. Alot of people complain about the Dawn remake but it was alot better than Land of the Dead. So i'm not as quick to bash remakes of non classic low budget flicks.

As long as it stays bloody and offer some good old school creature effects then I'm open to a remake, although, I still think it's entirely unnecessary.

I dislike the original (actually the series pretty much) so I don't really give a shit if they remake it. Atleast now they are remaking films that need to be remade, it makes much more sense to try and improve upon a bad movie instead of trying to improve upon an already good movie(obviously the remakes are done for nothing but money and not trying to improve it, but my point is still valid).

I actually like the idea of remaking this. I think it could be really good. Especially if Tenney is involved.

Night of the Demons is sweet as hell, I don't want a remake. It will be Hollywoodized, and you know it.

Don't care either way. The movie was okay, but it's corny and the plot was fuzzy. Hated that completely unrelated ending.

Saying this one will just be for the money is kind of silly. As if the cheap drive in fare wasn't made to turn a quick buck.

Whatever floats their boat.
I prefer Demons over Night of the Demons.
I would watch it though.

While that is true and I agree with you, I wasn't trying to make a point about how they are remaking this movie just for the sake of making money. I was just mentioning that this is one of those movies that doesn't hurt to have a remake since the first one is terrible. But I acknowledged the fact that the past remakes aren't necessarily done to improve a movie but to stand a better chance making the big studios a profit.

This is one of my all time favorites so I see no point in a remake. But if it's done well and they add something unique to it then maybe it'll be worth checking.

I guess they're going to remake every fuckin' flick under the sun nowadays...shit is ridiculous.

Not going to start another thread but, Rosemary's baby is also getting a remake. Heard it on a morning show today. If you're a horror movie made before 2007, you're getting remade.

I don't know why, but I freaken love remakes. I love a new spin on a classic. But all the same I don't want them to venture to far away from the original. That is a pet peeve of mine.

I can agree with that. I do think however that a movie from the 80's isn't old enough to need to be remade. I WANT A WIZARD OF OZ REMAKE! Who's with me comrades!?

What?

No one?.....

You guys suck.....
