The 1st 20 minutes of the 1st were pretty creepy then it went down hill. I didnt bother with the 2nd and I will (obviously) skip the 3rd.

True. But you could also choose to support the struggling actors, actresses, cameramen, editors, art directors, script supervisors, ect ect ect who need to make a living.

More than one person goes into the making of a movie. While I do see you point totally, I choose to not refuse to see a film because of one person I don't like is involved in it.

While I do undertsand what you're saying, those people have already been well paid for their services. If you'ev got a job in direct to dvd, you're not gonna have to wory too hard about makign a living.

I hope this really happens, this I love this movie, and my friend is obsessing over this movie, so it would be the perfect flick that we could go see together.

Will be interesting to see which style they go with the third, seeing how the first 2 were done in different themes... the first being more suspense/thriller monster flick and the second being mass people/slasher monster flick. Hmm, sort of like how Alien and Aliens differed actually.... just not as good overall. Still, first two were in the average to decent ranking so third is worth a rental at least. Always respected even poor attempts at original monster designs.

I thought Victor Salva did the whole "every 23rd spring" thing to keep repeated sequels from being made. This is ridiculous.

Not really into this. The second was sucky. I'll watch it on cable or somethin'.

I won't likely be seeing it in theater, but if they attempt something closer to the first than the 2nd, I'd rent it on dvd at least.
