yea, GTA is first and foremost, but if I can manage to scounge up afew bucks before then I definately want to give this a try

I've been looking for getting my first game for PS3 and i might just get this one i want a shooter though. I already have COD4, Gears, and Creed for 360 probably get Unreal 3 and this one maybe.

Good news for you is Dark Sector (25th), Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (18th), and Condemned 2 (11th) are coming out soon. Later this year you got plenty more like Killzone 2, Resistance 2, Haze, etc etc.

Resistance was my first PS3 game followed by The Darkness. Not interested in Uncharted? It has the same gameplay as Gears but with better animation and close combat

Also can't forget about Prototype which should be out by Oct and Metal Gear Solid 4 which is out this summer.
