Seems they really want to remake this....Attack of the Killers Tomatoes.

Ask a Ninja creators Kent Nichols and Douglas Sarine are planning a remake, with Nichols making his directing debut on the movie. It's been 30-years since the original film hit the big screens, but Nichols hopes to "recapture the magic" of the original.

Wow. Thats all we need is CGI tomatoes.

The whole fun of the original was seeing a paper mache tomato chase a woman down a hill. But then again it aint like they are remaking a great movie.

How can you remake a film that was a running gag, even in the eyes of the people making it? They'll sink too much money into this and take out the "cheesy and meant it that way" feel that made the original mildly enjoyable. Whats next? We'll start redoing some Scifi channel originals? :nutso::nono::drooling:

I'd watch a remake. As long as they kept it cheesy. Or atleast do it like the cartoon was. To be honest I always thought the original movie was very forgettable.
