Dance With the Devil

This is a flick I've been meaning to catch for a while now, from Spanish director Álex de la Iglesia (Common Wealth, The Perfect Crime).

Starring Rosie Perez and Javier Bardem (No Country For Old Men), we basically follow this love/hate couple as they get into murder, robbery, kidnapping and all sorts of mayhem. Lots of violence in this flick, however, I read that despite the US version saying "Unrated" the sex and violence is still heavily cut. :dsp:

Anyway, good movie. Interesting from the beginning, and once again, Javier Bardem steals the show in every scene.

Ever since I saw Javier Bardem in No Country For Old Men, I've been trying to get the chance to watch some of his earlier films. I hate it when the US releases have to cut some of the violence. Either way, I'll check this out!

Guess I'll check it out since Day of the Beast was a damn good movie and Accion Mutante is pretty entertaining. Although Perfect Crime was fairly boring.

I'll give that a shot too then, I've liked all of Alex's films that I've seen. I mean even though I found Perfect Crime to be a little more boring than what I was expecting and compared to his other movies, I didn't think it was a bad flick.
