Decent ep, but not as funny as I had hoped. It still offered pretty funny stuff though. Too early to tell where the season is headed yet.

Are all the seasons on DVD yet or are they still waiting on the last one?

Yeah, the first three are on DVD. Great extras on season 2 & 3. There's so much extra footage for each episode that sometimes it feels like you're watching entirely new episodes.

I love The Office...although last night's episode was pretty lackluster. Hopefully next week's gets better.

I love The Office. Didn't mind the new episode, episodes that come after a break are usually worse.

However, Fright, wasn't this the 9th episode in season 4? (The thing you said about seeing where the season is heading)

Yeah it is. I forgot most of what happened in the previous episodes, plus I don't remember there being much for story archs

Story arcs... Ryan the temp, now Jan's replacement has instituted an overhaul of the Dunder Mifflin website, and the company's image in general; Dwight got dumped by Angela, who in turn started dating Andy; Jan and Mike hit a rough patch after he destroyed her civil case for wrongful termination. Oh, and Jim and Pam... dating, but not much has been revealed about their relationship. The new ep was pretty durn good IMO, but I'm not to be trusted as an unbiased reviewer.

I can't predict where the season is heading, especially with Jan & Michael. I think its a safe bet that Ryan's bullshit business plans will blow up in his face. Dwight and Angela... I think will get back together. Not betting any money though.

It's been a depressing season (which has been the intention). I can't wait to see the rest unfold.

Yeah it has been a depressing season but this last episode was actually one of my favorites so far. All of the most interesting characters IMO were put together in closer quarters and I loved the interactions. Cant stand Jan though. shes the definition of the word CUNT in my book.

There's an intro of the office that cracked me up so bad. Started off with Ryan talking to the camera about how Michael creeps him out when he stares at him, then they cut to Michael staring at him all hardcore with seemingly devious intent through the window from inside his office. Hilarious stuff

NBC returned to an all-original lineup Thursday night, highlighted by the much-anticipated resumption of The Office. Most of the network's comedies were roughly on par with their pre-strike averages, but The Office spiked to deliver its highest rating since the show's fall season premiere (9.2 million, 4.8/12). :rocker:

Jenna Fischer is great  And she's married (I think married) with James Gunn, who made Slither, Scooby Doo, and co-made Tromeo & Juliet :coolbeer:

Not the greatest ep but pretty funny nonetheless. The bit about Michael getting multiple vasectomies had me rolling.

I've only seen like 1 episode and didn't think it was that funny, But I guess I'm gonna have to check it out... I got (I think) the 1st season on DVD for X-Mas (random gift) and I never opened it, gonna check it out now.

First season is decent. It's only 6 eps and it's where we really get to know the characters in the show, so a lot of the jokes are hits and misses. Overall, it's still funny. It's not until the second season, where the characters are established and more crazy stuff ensues, that it really becomes hilarious.

I think the first season has taken alot from the british show too, so don't judge the show until you've seen a few episodes from the second season.

Tried to watch the original UK series, but couldn't get into it. The characters weren't as funny (more annoying than anything, especially the "Dwight" role), and the storylines were pretty similar to the US version, so I already knew what was going to happen.

I felt the same way. I prefer the US version, although people that watched the UK version first usually prefer it over the US.

I just noticed on IMDB, that several of the actors have the same first names as their characters... odd....

Creed is played by Creed Bratton
Phyllis is played by Phyllis Smith
Angela is played by Angela Kinsey
Oscar is played by Oscar Nunez

They always say that when the actors are in the background, they use the computers for their own stuff. Like Pam, she's usually on her Myspace. Maybe Meredith loves Spider Solitaire?

The latest episode was really great. Nice plots, Ryan the druggie was great, and I loved Toby at the end. Always liked Toby, he's just a sweet old guy.

So, do you all think that Halpert's "warning" status is because Toby wants Pam and is trying to get him fired or because Ryan is a little dickhead that doesn't like Halpert or bit of both?

Just curious on everyone's take on it... I'd always thought Jim and Ryan got along okay, then that shit happened episode before last and I was like "what the hell is this shit?!!! Little cokehead has it out for halpert?!!" The way Toby was acting though, made think it was a whole lot of jealousy regarding Pam... I dunno...

I'd fuck the hell out of Pam...

Great episode I enjoyed every second of it. I look forward to next season. I hope this scenario unfolds...

Guess in black:
Pam moves to NY to take classes and moves up to the corp office. Jim will take Ryan's position.

I feel bad for Dwight. And i got ticked off when Andy stole Jim's thunder...

Holly: How much change do you have?
Kevin: holds out hand
