Finally watched this last night after years of curiosity and WOW what a great flick. The sets were so eerie and the makeup and just everything about the movie. I'm all about atmosphere and I don't think I've ever seen a movie thats done it better than this. And this movies almost 90 years old!

I can see where A LOT of people have gotten insperation for this flick. If your the kind of person that can appreciate a silent flick then you've probably already seen this. But if you haven't you NEED to change that. And I'm pretty sure this movies public domain and its free all over the internet to watch. If you have netflix its on the watch now list.

This movies up there with movies like Nosferatu. Just great.

Awesome flick and well done! My second favorite after Nosferatu. A few of the greatest horror films came from this era.

Tim Burton would be one film maker that got a lot of his inspiration from this film as well as the majority of German Expressionalist films of the 1920's (which I read in one of the biographies written about him).
