There are so many to chose from:
Basketball
Soccer
Boxing
Swimming
Gymnastics
Bodybuilding
Track & Field
Football
Hockey
Baseball (maybe not)
Tennis
Skiing
I would have to go with boxing. The training it takes to last a 12 round fight IMO is more intense than the other sports mentioned. The discipline involved almost seems inhuman. Intense attention to diet, training, and sleep. Seems like the key to being the best boxer is to train relentlessly, not necessarily a factor in other sports. Like I said, I'm assuming that it's gotta be boxing due to the fact that relentless training will in most cases lead to the best/most conditioned athlete.
Thoughts?

Hockey is up there. It might not seem like it but those guys go through crazy cardio training every single day. Also you have to give it up to guys who after playing a full game they hop onto a tredmil for more cardio.
Boxing is definitly number one though, that becomes your life really.

Obviously body building for strengh and physiqe, but definatly gymnastics for overall conditioning. Lets face it they represent an entire country.

As much as I hate it.... soccer. At least hockey players get a break every couple minutes, soccer players don't get many breathers and all they do is run up and down that big ass field for hours. Boxing would be a close 2nd.
everything but baseball :D

No fan of the sport, but you don't get much more in shape, overall, than a soccer player.

definitely, it's an extremely exhausting sport, not only are you on blades, you're going extremely fast, all while controlling a stick and trying to keep a small rubber cylinder under control while trying to keep your head up so you don't get jacked.
tough, but a lot of fun that's for sure.

I would have to go with soccer as well. Damn I couldn't run past the 10 min mark.

I would probably say Football (Soccer) with boxing running it close.
