View Full Version : Comp trouble
Tried to turn it on earlier but nothing showed on screen but I could hear everything coming on. Before that, the computer fan that starts up at the beginning kept running. Had to turn it on and off a few times before it worked again. Had this trouble before with my old computer dont know why its happening again. Think before it was the video card or some shit. Any thoughts?

Could be your card or monitor. How long have you had your monitor?
about a year, but it worked just fine like an hour or so ago

How old's your card? You should check to see if you need to update your card's driver
might get that checked out. thing is its probably my fault for not doing something sooner. Before I bought the comp I had like a video card installed into the computer. soon after it would do the fan thing, run and never stop and I would have to turn it on and off for it to work. oh well

Probably just need to update your driver or just get a new card. If it was your monitor it probably wouldn't even come on. That's what happened to a friend of mine

Does it also stall forever on the "Windows is now shutting down" screen?
Some combinations of equipment seem to do that.

Had a similar thing happen to my last computer. Came back off holiday and tried using my computer. When i turned it on nothing would show on the monitor but i could hear the fan start up. It never came on again so had to get a new comp.
