Decent film, but to be honest, I expected better. The premise was interesting and with William Dafoe as the lead, I figured it would be a pretty good movie. Turned out to be incredibly slow-paced, with very little to keep you watching.
Sure, it's interesting in parts, but mostly due to Dafoe's performance as a detective with an obvious dark past. Then when it came down to the final reveal of the killer, it was a bit disappointed.
The movie builds up that the killer seems to be really intelligent and I thought various hard-to-guess clues would come together to pinpoint who the killer was, but when it's finally revealed, it seemed pretty half-assed compared to the rest of the film.
