 I am not big fans of Roth, or Zombies either. But as you said Uwe Boll is not one to talk.

I think this is funny, he should continue. So far he only mentions bad/overrated ones.

"Uwe told us here at Iseedead.com that directors Eli Roth, and Rob Zombie were "overrated', and "hyped".

Exactly. Isn't Postal coming out soon? This saves him having to actual get any kind of promotional material for the film if he's able to make an ass of himself for free.

His comments like this used to be funny, but now that he's releasing more stuff like this every few days, it's getting pretty tiring :dsp:

Yep.
What's going to draw more attention, posters/trailers or a director bad mouthing other directors, saying he wants to beat up the "haters" and if a million people sign a petition he'll quit?

Well, yeah, to a degree; however, Zombie's got The Devil's Rejects under his belt; Roth has a worsening reputation, but though I don't think Cabin Fever really made anyone cum in their pants, it was an admirable shot for a rookie filmmaker. If nothing else, you could probably make an argument of how valuable they are to the genre on the basis of creativity, however mild and predicated on violence they may be.
Boll adapts video games into feature-length films, a ridiculous attempt to begin with. When he finally did take a shot at something creative, that movie he just did last year with Jason Statham, it proved to be just as miserable a failure as his other movies.
Goddamn it, Boll sucks, and it's so frustrating because he's one of those people who's so awful that you just have to talk about him with people, but in doing so you feel like you're paying him some sort of respect by acknowledging his existence.

Very true. Boll continues to do poor adaptations of video games. He is the last person who should be talking negatively about someone elses work. though I believe In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale, was also based off a video game.

Considering I enjoy Zombie's work and can sit through Roth's flicks, I find them both superior filmmakers to Boll. I tried watching a few of Boll's films and wanted to stab myself in the face repeatedly - for i believe that would be less painful than sitting through his crap attempts at film making. At least Zombie and Roth exhibit a true love and respect for the genre with all of the references they place in their work.

AHAHAHHAHAHA this is probably the funniest thing I've read all week. Fuck I agree with everyone, he is the LAST person to place judgement on anyone. But unlike most of you I've liked everything Zombie has done so far, I agree, its been overhyped, but still better than a lot of films I've seen in the past few years. But my only problem is I liek his music better, so I think he shoudl take a break and record a new album before he starts another movie.

Zombie should focus on his music. He's better at making music than making movies, that's for sure!
