A couple days ago I was wasting my time on youtube and then I found video that it saids the top five scenes in horror history and some of the were good but not all of them I agree so now I want to know what people really think of this what is their favorite horror movie scene, the one make you said OMG! when you saw it for the first time...
For example for me was the norris scene in THE THING the scene was so schocking for me the first time I saw it (long time ago) that the next times I see it at least closed my eyes twice just to escape from the experience but now I just love it every time I whatch it... (If you have one please if you can put a still of the scene so we can see which are you refering to)

I loved the scenes in High Tension where the killer breaks in and the chick has to stay hidden.
Probably lots more, but most recently in the movie Inside (for those that have scene it) when the crazy bitch first shows up and the other girl uses her camera flashes as light to see her outside.

I've always liked the demon transformation scene of the whore on stage in Lamberto Bava's Demons. Not sure why, but that scene has always stuck out in my mind.

When I was like 9 the scene in Salems Lot where the vampire kid is scratching at the window really messed me up for a long time.
The alter scene in the 1976 version of King Kong
The first time we get to see the mutant guy in the Funhouse.
The whole camper scene in The Hills Have Eyes remake
Thats all I can think of at the moment.

One of the creepiest scenes was from Carrie. She walks upstairs after the Prom deal and you can see her mom hiding behind the door with the knife. Piper Laurie is just creepy. Bloody New Year has some good ones too.

I like the Eye Splinter scene in Zombie. The distorted scream made it even more gruesome, IMO.

Dr. Loomis speech in Halloween
No particular scene in Phantasm but I love almost every single one.
Exorcist 3 has two very creepy scenes. Women crawling on ceiling gives me the chills and I jumped big time on the Nurse Attack scene.

everytime I think 'bout that movie, the first scene that comes to mind is. When that guy is standin' over that kid when he's in bed. that freaks me out. Sometimes when I sleep I look straight up to make sure nobody is starin' at me.

Another part of that scene(at least I think it was in that scene)when some guy says something like 'that was one pissed off goalie',I thought that was amusing.
I wonder why nobody used that reference in any of the previous movies.

The scariest scene in any horror movie has got to be during A Tale Of Two Sisters where the old lady walks up the stairs to visit that girl in bed
It took me about 4 tries to watch that scene by myself

Id have to say..in American Psycho when Patrick Bateman is with the one hooker and the girl he knew, banging them both cause thats what he did best, but the hooker crawls out of the bed and all of the sudden you see blood everywhere and the hooker runs and finds dead bodies and blood and then he chases her with the chainsaw. That part is awesome. And not just because hes running around naked..with shoes on.

There has been alot of scenes but here are a few that spooked me when I was little..
-Evil Dead- After the lady was attacked by the tree and they where trying to guess cards and then all of a sudden the lady was getting them all correct and then floated straight up possesed..
-Ju On- At the end when the wife crawled down the stairs and you see her face in the star way and the noise that she makes as well as her bones cracking as she came down the stairs...
-Salem's Lot-And yes I would agree the friend floating outside the window scratching on the window, that's a good one that freeked me out for a while...
-Sleepaway Camp-Really didn't freek me out but it was just messed up,when at the end the girl was actually a guy DAMN...
-Halloween 2-When lori was trying to hide and michael just came around the corner with the light hitting him-

The twins scene from the Shining...
Station Wagon scene from Tremors...(*shrug*, dont ask)
Car staled on roadway scene from They...
Opening scene to Jaws...
And to go completely off-topic, the opening scene from Pirates of the Caribbean 3, where the kid was hung while singing the song... stuck with me. *shrug*

The opening sequence of "He knows you're alone." after seeing that scene for the first time, we always sit in the backseats at the movies so no one can sit behind of us. :P
Another good one is the curling iron scene in Sleepaway camp, ouchies. Man I'm glad I'm not a female, otherwise I wouldn't be able to handle watching these movies.

I had to post this when I saw this thread.
Surprisingly NOONE has said this! Them (the french/romanian) movie. Not the big spider. That whole movie just had me on edge. It is one of those movies that made me afraid to stay alone. It is just an all around GREAT movie. Go buy it right away, it won't be a regret.

So funny.
I'll try my best to describe this... American Werewolf in London when David is dreaming about him seating with his family and those werewolf/men come in and grabs the lady and slices her throat! That image really got burned in my brain as a kid.
