Watched it last night and i have to admitt it actually scared me. Havent been truely scared of a horror film and a long while. Maybe because im a woman and the theme of the film is revolved around a pregnancy. The crazy ladys character was done very well she gave me nightmares lol the gore was great BUT i do have a question ***SPOILER***....................

And as for your question JJ, think about this. If I'm in a dark ass house with blood and broken shit everywhere and I'm scared, I'm probably going to flip out on anyone I come across :nod:.

Yes thats true but the house wasnt dark anymore the cop turned them back on. I guess he was just out of it.. I found it strange that all those people stoped by the house and no one went looking for them like the mom and the boss who was on his way to a party

The cop suffered a direct close-range shot at the head by that flash gun, resulting in some sort of brain trauma. His eyes were blacked out because he was blinded by the flash. That being said, I'm sure all he remembered before getting shot was to turn the circuit breaker on, but a woman was also going to attack him.

Thus, after turning it on, he attacked the first person nearby, which happened to be the pregnant chick. The only problem I have with that scene is how he seemed to hit her directly in the gut countless times, despite being blind. Seemed a bit too coincidental to me.

I meant as in which aspect was it illogical, because if he just means the plot/story as a whole, I disagree since there have been quite a few instances of a woman killing another pregnant or new mom for their child.

I liked this movie a lot. Yeah, it was slightly illogical with all the people showing up....really though if you think about it, the mom showed up because obviously her daughter was having a c-section the next day....her boss was kinda out of the blue....and the cops did say they would check back throughout the night.

The ending really made me squirm. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

there def good and bad parts to this movie I agree with some of what steelba is saying but the gore and the story are pretty cool... and I still enjoyed this movie... the ending fucked up and you want the hero to win but not this time...

I'm late, but I finally saw this. Really awesome movie. I have to say the cinematography was fuckin' incredible, especially in such a small confinement it was a true work of art. The blood and gore was great, suspense was perfect and the ending was sadistic and put a nice cherry on top. My top 3 movies I have seen in 2008 are all french films. Wake up USA.

I loved this movie. 8.5/10 The best horror movie of 2008 so far....even tho it was made in 2007..I guess it wasnt released here until 2008.
