If GR never made NOTLD and Dawn, Diary would be looked at differently I believe by the younger generation of horror fans. It's hard to believe that so many young horror fans today don't like the original NOTLD, but love Resident Evil :dsp: At least GR keeps his zombie films entertaining by exercising the mind a little.

I'm not gonna lie... I'm not a big fan of NOTLD, I wouldn't say I hate it, Also I thought Dawn was alright. But My Fav is Day Of The Dead, I could watch that one over and over.

Romero can take a dump and make something better than Resident Evil. Diary was a great movie. I don't get the tremendous amount of hate for it. I hated Jason also and some of the characters were very annoying, but the movie was full of dark humor and atmospheric, creepy moments.

Land of the Dead is the worst modern zombie movie out there. Worse then RE and alot worse than the DOTD remake. Which wasn't very good.

watched the first one last night, it was an entertaining good movie I thought. Having said that, I don't think Romero needs to make anymore zombie flicks. But if he does he needs to make one about the end of the zombie plague, just cuz it would be different.

I really thought Robs horror flicks would turn out a lot diffrent than they did. I pictured him doin some really creepy stuff.

I love Romero's Dead movies, I'm one of the few guys I knwo aroudn here who have actually sene the original balck and white night of the living dead.

I'll agree Romero's movies are FAR better than the RE movies, but if you count the games I have to side with RE lol, but only Re up to RE4, because that changed things.

I just got done watching Diary again for the 2nd time. Although not his best, still a fine horror film.

I love Romero's flair for quick involvement in his zombie films. That was lacking a little in Land, but it exists here, and I like that sort of thing. Dig it? :D Uwe is yet to develop such skills.

RE4 alone takes a dump on the Andersonized movies. Zombies or not.

Far as the other games vs. Romeros movies. All the RE games are notorious for cheesy voice acting and the Romero movies have always had solid characters and differences that set each entry apart from each other. Outside of the story, you'd be hard pressed to find any noticeable changes in the first handful of games in the RE universe.

Nevertheless, to each is own.

I gotta say i was pretty bummed by Diary.While not terrible,it can't touch any of the other "dead" films.The characters were fucking stupid,as was the dialogue.I didn't give a shit about anyone in the film.The zombies were of course cool,but that's a given.It was also kinda slow.Hopefully Diary 2 will be better.

I'm a big fan of romero's ideas but not his movies. The idea behind his vision of zombies is great, but his movies are lame sad to say. Also sad to say but the only real zombie movie I absolutely love is Shaun of the Dead. I am a hardcore zombie fan, but as far as movies go, there really aren't many good ones.
