Yea, caught that the other day...it's too bad the sample is so friggin' short but it does sound pretty damn good. We all know they aren't what they used to be, but they still pump out great music that I would rather listen to over all the metal shit out today. IMO.

Do I hear solos? Delicious.

sounds great, but Metallica wont be back to me untill theyre back doing stuff like they did for their first 4 albums, it seems like after Cliff Burton died so did Metallica.

but either way i think I'll actually buy this album, unlike the last one which I only borrowed and soon gave back and wiped from my memory.

one thing I loved was the guitar solos sounded better than they have in years.

Fav band. I actually liked St. Anger. Just Load and Reload weren't great. Garage Inc. was awesome with all the cover songs and I thought the Symphony Orchestra did a great job in S&M. The first 5 albums are all classics, yes that includes the Back album. So IMO eight out of ten aint bad.

That sounded really good. I hope there are solo's in this album metallica isn't metallica with solo's. I remember getting st. anger and being excited about the new stuff.... listened to it.... then wondered if god was playing a cruel joke with me. Due to that album you can only go up from there.

some of it is do to that cliff made a lot of the riffs on the albums he was alive to record. i saw in an interview that he actually did most of master of puppets
