Great news here, excellent read.

This is my favorite part:

On Captain America

First of all, Feige confirmed that the Matthew McConaughey as Cap story was bullshit, as is just about every 'scoop' that comes out of Cinemablend. He also confirmed that the film will be a period piece, set in World War II. He also sadly confirmed that the title is The First Avenger: Captain America and not Captain America: The First Avenger. Boo.

With The First Avenger hitting six weeks before The Avengers, it's sort of obvious that the film will end with Cap frozen somehow, to be awoken in the second film. But I wondered if that meant audiences would need to see The First Avenger to get on The Avengers train. Feige gave the answer comic book guys always give when talking about companywide crossovers:

The Incredible Hulk is growing on me slowly, and Captain America staying true to the time will be awesome. Iron Man 2....really, need more to say after the first one? It's Thor that has me concerned. I just think getting that character to Mainstream Audiences will be hard.

"The First Avenger" is a retarded title.

I was very suprised, but very pleased when I heard this news on Attack of the Show. I can't wait to see his WW2 outfit, hopefully it'll be similar to how it looks in the ultimates.

I also read that a big chunk of the Thor movie will take place in Asgard

Thor and Ironman 2 in 2010, then C.A. and Avengers in 2011. Marvels gonna be very busy. And whoever they get o play Captiain is gonna have his work cut out for him, basically playin Captain back to back.

I can't wait for this to happen CA has been a favorite of mine and I am really glad Matthew Mc. isn't gonna play him. I heard a rumor that Brad Pitt was talked about in playing the Thor character. I have to say I can see that, it may not happen but it would be an interesting choice.

nope, just The Incredible Hulk. and for all you naysayers, this movie was co-written by Ed Norton, and is based off of the comics and the tv series. the first was made to relate to Korean-Americans.

I heard that the new Hulk was made to make up for the last shitfest Hulk movie. And I also read that HHH was also in consideration for the Thor role.

Marvel Studios wanted to separate themselves from the Ang Lee movie once they got the rights to do another Hulk movie. hence new actors and new director.

and yes, Triple H is considered for the role of Thor. :puke:

HHH should never be Thor. I love wrestling...but HHH is better off being HHH.

The Incredible Hulk looks like it will be pretty good but I am more interested in seeing iron man and The dark knight
