I felt the exact same way. The off screen death was when the movie started to go down hill imo.

I hated the whole talking ending. and how there was suppose to be a meaning behind it. it pissed me off.

I really like the movie but I though the sheriff was a pointless character other then to show what the title meant.I lthough other then the last scene the ending was actual good.

No, when you have such a solid film overall you can pretty much forget about the ending.

i thought the off screen death was lame i felt as though they should of shown it, but the endin was fine for me, all in all the movie was real goood

I was totally loving the movie until "the death" and then I kept waiting for Jones's character to actually do something and it never happened... fuck this film.

I'm gonna watch this movie right now... I forgot I bought it a long time ago and didn't even open it... oops. Let ya know what I think of it.
