anyone checked out this anime series based on the game? I've got it coming from netflix and just wondering if anybody here liked it.

I hear it's good, but I never got around to checking it myself. I'll have to give it a look sometime soon.

Got the collectors edition of DMC4, came with a few 'episodes' on a seperate disc. Not bad, if you enjoy the game series. But if you have not followed the series or don't like the games you'll likely have better time elsewhere.

I was able to watch a few at a uncles house and it definately captures the fill of the game in a good way. Im not a huge anime fan but I would actually try to watch this one.

I watched the first 2 volumes, pretty sure their the only ones out right now. They weren't bad. Didn't really follow the game but it has some characters from the game, and the blonde chick from the games is still a mystery in the anime right now as to who she is. So it might eventually become like the games. Although the anime is still really good. He just goes around killing demons, its got a lot of action. Pretty much what I expected. Its good.

Far as I can tell, its a side launch around the same time they released DMC4. DMC4 collector's edition came with free episodes and there are not many out as of yet. Still, worth a watch for the game series' fans.

Yeah I saw em all, they are pretty good though admitedly they lack in plot. But when you're as cool as dante, you don't need plot.

Was it dubbed into english sometimes thats all it takes to ruin a good anime.

I really like the game, it is cool. I hope the anime is better.

I wonder if they are making a live action picture of this. It would be fun IMO.

Well i have downloaded it but still have not got around to watching any episodes. Just put the first couple of minutes of the first episode to make sure they are playing fine on my media player. I saw that the episodes i have are in Japanese with English subtitles which i think its just perfect in my opinion. Prefer the Japanese language when it comes to anime.

Although i could be wrong but i think that i have 12 episodes and not just 8 as Chief said. Need to check on that.
