Seems like a classic Clash between Director who see's the Vision and the Suits who see's the Money. I just hope it dosn't take too long, I want to see this film.

Spike Jonze is a genius, I really hope his film is released as is.

hopefully if this does happen we'd still in some way get to see Spikes movie. The suits just wanna reshoot the thing and make it some stupid cash in flick that only little kids will like. Suits never cease to amaze me.

Another potential great film getting royally butt-fucked by the industry. Early buzz suggested Spike's version is incredible. It'd be a shame to see it all go down the drain.

Sounds like they're just too scared this film won't bring in a wide audience. Heaven forbid a children's film be dark or scary anymore. the monsters should just quip about pop culture in mexican accents!!!
