Surprisingly decent 80's backwoods survival slasher. Could have used some gore and more on-screen deaths, but otherwise above average flick. Apparently an extended more crisp version exists, but has only been seen on TV over the years. Maybe one day we'll see a DVD re-release with the added footage, as I hear the current DVD releases is very dark. Should have a review soon.

Movie was slow, but still liked it. The copy I watched was really poor quality, really dark. 7/10

I was just going to make a thread about this movie, but saw it was already made. :P I actually have this movie on vhs, well my mother bought it when it was first released. I guess it's pretty rare to get. I just saw they released it on dvd in '05. Kind of surprised me. I don't believe there are many copies out there and you pay a shitload for the movie to have it.

Anyway, I remember the movie being OK. I may have to give it another watch. I just remember that most of the scenes in the movie were too dark to see what was actually going on which annoyed the hell out of me. :P It was very low budget.
