This is alot of fun and brings back good old memories of what probably got most of us into horror to begin with. I agree with this list completely.

The Giant Claw is a pisser

(I put this here because it just seemed to belong here)

Very nice, enjoyed this, reminds me of Sunday afternoon TV, forgot about Gamera, love Gamera, the Kracken and of coarse Godzilla

When I was a kid I believed in Gamera.

haha yeah, seen this awhile ago. Good to see the Nintendo Nerd doing other videos besides game reviews.

His Jackie Chan videos are mad too.

The Nerd aka James Rolfe definitely has some good taste, good nonbiased non video game reviews and good lists.

One of the best to come out of the whored out youtube.

This guy is pretty funny. I personally think King Kong should be #1 but I hope the Giant Claw was a joke.

oh yeah.....its God Damn Gamera

Nothing I love quiet like a monster movie. And these oldschool over the top cheesefests have a special place in my heart. I love everything Harryhausen did, I love Godzilla so much I'm considering a tattoo of him on my arm, and I'm becoming a Gamera fan. I've only seen the newer ones but the I've got the older ones towards the top of my netflix Q. The older ones look so cheesy I can't wait to see them. And the Giant Claw, god how great was that flick. I need to rewatch it though cuz I've not seen it since I was a kid.

Theres an old church close to where I live with a huge marker that looks almost like a gravestone. My parents had me convinced when I was a kid that it was King Kong's grave.

sweeet, I'm thinking either Godzilla or a tat of one of Ray Harryhausens creatures with his signature under it.

I got a tat on my arm that's a three-headed gold dragon.... I was wanting Ghidorah, but couldn't find decent flash for it, so the artist just drew it up on the spot for me... he said "I can't give you Ghidorah, but I'll definately give you a kickass three-headed gold dragon" and it turned fuckin' sweet.

My plan is to eventually get a full back piece done of a battle scene between Godzilla and Gigan, complete with demolished buildings and maybe mothra flying over it...

As far as the list is concerned, I'm gonna take Giant Claw beating out Godzilla and Kong as a joke... it's the only thing it could be.

In a truly serious list, Godzilla would be number one, in my opinion.

Kinda suprised that Harryhausen's spectacular Ymir from 20 Million Miles To Earth wasn't on the list.... one of my all-time faves.

The Gargantuas and their mommy, Frankenstein > EVERYTHING ELSE IN THE WORLD.

Loved the part where the brown Gargantua picks up a tree and starts wailing the piss out of the green Gargantua with it... for some reason that always cracked me up.

How do you misspell his name? It's right on his hat!

How can I just see some college student with a liberal arts degree having to run to the bathroom before every exam? "Sorry professor. My mom's handwriting is starting to fade off the elastic and that's how I spelled my name wrong. She's sending me some new ones next week."

Great list, but someone should have known better than to let this kind of error through.

I watched that a while ago on youtube... I love it. It really brings me back a number of years to when a great day was renting a movie and buying a bag of chips and watching these movies.

Watching the dirty/horny college/slashers with buddies.

Renting Ghostbuders/Blue Brothers/Great Outdoors over and over again.

And these monster movies... such good times. If only it was all the same again. It's a shame that feeling will never return 100% the way it was back then only in small doses and it never sticks are too long. Tis a shame.
