Now i might get lynched for this :2eyes: but suspiria is soooo overated. I felt as if i was the last horror fan on earth that had not viewed this movie. Heard so much about it. Finally checked it out and i was truely disapointed. The first death was cool nothing as great as been said though. B.t.w saw they are remaking this on imdb

Love it!
To me his films are art,the style, set colors,it's hard to explain I guess.
I think if you didnt like it at all,my guess is you wont like any of Argento's films.

I rarely ever here "its ok". I either here it was great or it sucked. I'm not expecting I'll like it much cuz I haven't seen it either. But I do have it on the old Netflix Q. I'll see it eventually.

Good flick; it tends to drag a bit but it still held my interest throughout. You never see many witch stories anymore.

I feel the same way. Fantastic movie.

This I have to disagree with. If they don't like Suspiria then they might not like Inferno since they're more comparable, but I'd still say there's a good chance that if you don't like Suspiria, you'll like something like Tenebre, Deep Red or The Bird With the Crystal Plumage. Those 3 are totally different movies.

I like opera thats the only other argento movie that i have seen so far i will check out his others and to the comment that i didnt like this movie bcuz i have no class lol funny coming from some1 who is so quick to tell a girl to go suck a dick and call them whores when he dosent kno them haha yea real class act you are...anyways i do agree that i liked the set and the colors and such but the storyline and dialogue was dumb but i read that he intented the girls to be only 12 but had to change the age so the movie wouldnt get banned and didnt change the script so thats why the girls seem so child like.

Suspiria is great!
Argento is awesome in my book.
Here is how his films I have seen rank in my opinion.
1.Tenebrae
2. Suspiria
3. Opera
4. Deep Red
5. The Mother of Tears

Not everyone's cup of tea I guess.

I fucking hated pulse. I saw it just because Kristen Bell was in it.

Deep Red is in public domain now so you can view it LEGALLY on youtube or google video or something like that. granted, its the fullscreen edited version, but it still is amazing!

I liked Suspiria in an abstract painting kind of way. The movie is beautifully grotesque. The story and acting didnt really do much for me but the look and sound is awesome.

Can the moderators do something about this "Steelba"'s abusive ways? I'm new in this website, have commented a total of (2) times and already I have jacka** talking smack to me.... If I don't like a movie, that is my choice....and I would maturely respect anyone else's opinion if they don't agree with me......I read the way "Steelba" responds to other comments also and that's a sh**ty thing to do......I think "Steelba" is the one that's between the ages of 15-18!!!! Let me get this straight....if we don't agree with "Steelba", we're wrong....right? I joined this site because it seemed like a fun site.....right? Oh, and by the way, the killings in the movie were soooo awesome that at one point you can CLEARLY see the knife BENDING.....peace

Oh, I don't know if I want to go there! But I can say that back in the '70s my best friend and I used to go to the movies in Times Square and watch all the horror flick marathons (for dirt cheap), and risk having our feet stuck to the theater floors from all the "gunk", just to get creeped out....and yes, many times we cracked laughing at them....but it was all fun......

To the OP:

WTF??

Suspiria overrated??

Get your head checked. How hard did Stuntman Mike hit you in the face?

I never listened to your show, anyway.

But seriously, Suspiria is quite possibly the best Argento film to date. I say "quite possibly" cuz I've only seen that and the first few minutes of "Four Flies on Grey Velvet". But I've heard that Inferno can't even hold a candle to it.

Yes my friend as stated i believe it to be overated im not the only one on this site who didnt like this movie. I havent seen all of argentos films just opera and i liked that. I just bought deep red so i'll post about that one after i see it. By the way my show kicked ass :boxing: haha

I loved Suspiria, very artistic especially the last scene. Her walking down the hall is so memorable. All around great movie though I have to admit I am more of a Phenomena fan.
