Just got back, excellent film. Obviously, beating Ang Lee's Hulk is nothing to be proud of since you may even be able to find an Uwe Bowl movie better....but this film was actually very good. Great acting from Norton, and Tyler wasn't bad either....(although they should have kept Connely since the wonder that is her rack is enough to make her better then Liv Tyler.) Keep an eye out for Stan Lee and Lou Foriggno (sp?). And Mr. Downy Jr., abet a small part, does a wonderful job again as Mr. Tony Stark. Marvel fans will love it, and I seriously can't wait to see whats in store for this film version of the Marvel Universe they're building. Will we see Iron Man help Spider-Man take out the inevitable Carnage? Will Wolvie duke it out with The Hulk in the upcoming X-Men prequel? So many possibilities.Hell even the Punisher, The Fantastic 4, and Blade (once he gets out of prison) could factor into it all. The only thing thats for certain is that in the next few years we'll be seeing Captain America and the Avengers for sure.

Watched it earlier. Pretty good. I was never a huge fan of the Hulk, but the movie was still pretty good. Loved the ending

Think I'm gonna have to see this, this weekend...

This is a goddamn weird month, because again I'm find myself agreeing with Pastor... I'm really hoping that Marvel really brings it all together... Having Stark appear in this flick is just another step towards the upcoming avengers movie, but I hope they go further... Tie it all together.... if it's a Marvel character, make it part of the Marvel MOVIE Universe ...

I think that's what a lot of comic book movies are missing... that cohesive glue that pulls it all together. That these aren't just weird happenings that happen to one person. That they are all part of a world where weird shit happens.

In this world, you don't have to make it all super realistic... comic books aren't realistic, they are sci-fi fantasty...

Nothing pisses me off more than someone saying "Oh they can't do that... it wouldn't be realistic!" when it comes to comic book movies... Fuck Realism!!! Take it all the way to where it's supposed to be!!!

"Don't make me Hungry, you wouldn't like me when I am hungry."

They did a very good job with this film, and the end battle was one hell of a ride. But god damn all these loose endings because it's going to be 3-4 years before another one!

The only problem with uniting all the marvel characters is that Marvel doesnt own the movie rights to all their characters yet. Sure Marvel owns the Fantastic four, Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, Captain America... you name it they got it... except the big two.

X-men and Spiderman are still under Sony I believe. Well Spiderman is there at least. So you wont see any of them in a Marvel movie team up for a while.

As for the Hulk the reviews are good so i have to go see this. Make it a habit from now on to see Marvel movies on the big screen. They are just going to be so connected that i cant wait to see where it all leads.

What was up with Mr. Blue once he got thrown by Abomination near the end. His head started morphing. Was he experimmenting with Hulks blood sample on himself?

But reading the premise and seeing some long trailers

yeah VM666 is right, I believe thats what that was implying. I saw it last night, loved it. Some of the CG was questionabl at times, but I overlooked that cuz the movie was done so well. And I'm glad we got to hear the Hulks voice in the beginning an in the end. I did think Abomination talked to much though, and I would have rather him look like he does in the comics. But all in all this was a good movie, and it was leaps and bounds better than the shitfest that Ang Lee made. But the movie has only made about $20 as far as I know, so I doubt we'll see another one.

I've had enough X-Men and Spiderman movies to last me awhile so it's no big deal to me not to mention I don't like Spiderman and Wolverine is the only good X-Men so it's good to see some better characters. The Hulk is my least fav. of the main Marvel characters but this looks good I'll see it soon but I'm waiting for the Captain America that's where my money's going for Marvel.

I enjoyed it, but i still prefer Lee's Hulk. This one had about the same amount of action sequences, but Lee's were far better. The desert sequence was straight up awesome and for the most part, the cg was excellent. And the dog fight was much better than the fight with abomination. but nonetheless, I still liked this one

Fuckin movie ROCKED!!! ... the Lee version was complete SHIT!!!

I loved the whole damn movie... As an old school fan of the Hulk, it was all I could ask for... other than his and Abomination's actual origin was wrong, but it didn't matter, the fuckin movie delivered where it was supposed to!

Hulk and Abomination knocking each other through buildings... ah yeah....

And when the Hulk <spoiler> said "HULK SMASH!!!!" <spoiler>, I damn near geeked all over the place... I literally yelled "FUCK YEAH!!!!" and I wasn't the only one in theater cheering.

This movie was all that the Ang Lee bullshit fest should have been!

Marvel movies are off on a goddamn great foot this year!!!

You kiddin me? That movie was nothing more than angst and the hulk getting hit in the junk over and over again! This movie had it all, and I really loved the look of the hulk now. The old one just kind of looked like a lumbering green idiot.

Overall, I think Iron Man was a bit better on the whole, but I thought the fight between Hulk and Abomination was better than the fight between Iron Man and Iron Monger.....

Also, for the geeks out there... did anyone notice that Ms Ross's boyfriend was Leonard Samson?

This guy...

Can there possibly be a sequel in the works where Leader and Abomination team up to take on Hulk and Doc? Muscle and brains on both sides...

I agree entirely with that. Iron man was a tad better sept for the end fight.

At no point in time in the movie did i catch his name. But I thought ever since I saw the trailer that the guy looked like He could pull of a good Doc Samson. That's pretty odd that I thought that considering I had no idea that it actually was him during the movie.

Anyone else notice that Banner can now control he Hulk from the ending?

it happend from time to time in the comics. He gained control at certain times then lost it again. I'd say he's getting to a point to where he can control when he can turn into the hulk, but he'll probably loose it when he gets really realy pissed. I myself prefer the "hulk smash" version to the smarter hulk. But I still feel for Banner, gotta give the guy somethin every now and then!

Finally saw this. What a great film Marvel is on a roll. I absolutely LOVE the way they are tying things together it makes it that much more fun to watch and look for the connections. Iron Man is still my fav. at this point but this was still excellent.

I loved this movie to my surprise. I didnt think anything was going to be to horribly wrong i just wasnt sure of the cgi. However it had things in it that i just loved about Iron man: good fucking actors. The acting throughout this film was top notch and you really do enjoy all the moments Bruce Bannor gets into.

One of the best comic book movies i have seen, right up there with Iron Man. What sets them apart from the rest of the Marvel pack is all the little touches that hint toward something bigger comic. If you have seen the movie you know what i mean.

Could have sworn they had that segment in one of the later trailers for the film... *shrug*

Anyways, VAST improvement over the first attempt. Hopefully, any more Hero adaptations will learn from Iron Man and this Hulk and not repeat the failures of some of the eariler movie attempts... like the first hulk.

This and Iron Man I think set the bar for what hero movies should be like. The Punisher 2 is going to fucking SUCK without TJ though IMO. Loved the movie, lots of fan service and fanboy winks...def. up there as one of the best superhero movies to date.

Interesting note from Wiki:

Leterrier made the film's final shot of Banner ambiguous; if there is a sequel, it would mean Banner finally masters control over his anger; if there is not a sequel, the shot indicates instead that in the scheduled 2011 feature The Avengers, he becomes a menace.
