Fucking stupid movies. Epic movie is probably the worst one I've ever seen, don't even know why I watched it. There's a difference between being funny, and just doing stupid shit that doesn't make any sense. I didnt see the entire Meet the Spartans, but I caught the last 5 minutes while my fam was watchin, and the Leonidas character just out of no where jumps in a car and that barbie girl song started playin while he was dancin.... If the makers of these films think shit like that is funny... Then they need to stop making films. Stuff is garbage. The last good parody film was Scary Movie 1.

You would think these movies or sub genre of movies would've kicked along time ago. Still with so many movies out there to spoof, its easy cash for studios looking to makeup lost profit on other more 'serious' projects.

Bad thing about genres that are huge right now (comics) is that the source material is too great to not spoof for these idiots that they will have a plentiful supply of resources to spoof for a long time to come.

I hated Date Movie. I haven't watched all of Epic Movie and I don't wish to. Meet the Spartans? Uh, no. However, part of me wants to see Disaster Movie. I love the part where Carrie Bradshaw dragqueen gets into it with Juno.

Those scenes you're talking about are probably just in the deleted scenes section of the credits, that pad the running time.

This movie came in 7th place on its opening weekend. Pretty weak, especially since these movies usually have a strong opening weekend then die off. Maybe....just maybe this will put a hold on this directing team's career. Or force them to I dunno write an original screenplay rather than crib scenes in their entirety with added fart sound FX.
