View Full Version : Any suggestions?
Any suggestions from those out there who contribute in this forum or ideas they want to share. Feel free to ask me. I have afew ideas of my own. For football season with the weekly predictions threads. I'll sticky those for that week up until a day or so after the Monday Night Games. Same with the playoffs, etc.
When the Baseball playoffs start. I'll sticky the playoff thread for that. In the end, stickying some of those key threads will hopefully cut down on the need for multiple threads on the same subject.
As for some of the other threads I notice alot of are mostly boxing related with some of them only having 2 or 3 posts. I was thinking of either making a boxing thread and stickying it or I'll just close threads that dont seem to have any activity anymore related to boxing.
Again, any ideas or suggestions. Feel free.

I would like to see a sticky when Football season starts to see who has the most right predections from week to week, then at the end of the year we can see who did the best.
Or we can just continue to keep it in our sigs.

No problem. Their often the two most active threads outside of the seasoned threads and playoff threads.

Heres an idea, stop locking fucking threads, no need for any of them to be locked, never have before.
Continue to go down that path of locking threads for apparently either being out dated or multiple topics, you will alienate the rest of the sports community.

How about a NFL talk sticky?
Then a person can post about the latest news going on,or just brag about their favorite team.:D
Thats not a problem. In fact it works well because then we wont have to sticky the weekly prediction threads. As far as the weekly prediction thread you had in mind about keeping track of the predictions. Since its your idea, we can go with that or we can go with keeping track of our record in our sigs like we've done in the past.
Edit: I dont want to have too many stickies. I will make a sticky for the NFL. After that, if I see interest in a sticky for a prediction thread. I will make it, if not we will stick to keeping track of our records in our sigs.
