I find this movie to be a very underrated and ignored Troma flick. If you like the same things as me - rednecks and chili monsters, this is a movie for you.

I don't know how to explain this movie, but I usually say that it's a mix of your typical Troma and Evil Dead.

"A duo of gun happy redneck hunters stupidly break a sacred circle in a hunting spree, which releases the deadly wendigo. The wendigo kills many of the hunters gruesomely, leaving the chosen woman and a gun toting idiot to destroy the deadly beast."

Chili monsters? :2eyes:

Always skeptical about Troma's distributed titles...

If you expect this to be as bad as it sounds, I think you could like it.

The fact that there's always a song going in the background, that usually is almost louder than the dialogue, is just brilliant
It's the cheesiest of the cheesy, but it's very self-aware.
The big Wendigo makes me think of old 50's monster movies, the way it's made and stuff.

And yes, a monster comes out of the chili:

EDIT: Remember, Troma's distribution gave us Redneck Zombies, Cannibal! The Musical, Rabid Grannies and Decampitated!
