Theft

Couple of weeks ago my brother had his schoolbag stolen in the City from right under his nose! In his bag he had a Laptop, Video Camera ($1500), Hard Drive, School Books and all his School Work. Later on his empty bag was discovered behind a shop. Needless to say he was pissed!

Anyway, yesterday during a random drug bust the police discovered a Video Camera, followed the serial number on the back and returned it to my brother.

On the camera the police left the footage that the crack head had filmed and my brother uploaded it Here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bdQT7sW7ug)

The rest of his stuff is still yet to be recovered.

So has anyone here ever had anything stolen from them?

I had nearly a grand stolen out of my bank account by some so called friends a few years back. I'd booked a holiday with them to Ibiza for two weeks. But cancelled it once I found out my account had been wiped out. Then very nearly broke their noses when I found out it was them.

My old place got broken into 6 or 7 years ago. Took credit cards, money, Playstation and games, a radio and a stack of cds. None of it was ever recovered.

I'd say that because as we both were packing up and heading home for the summer (he was transfering to another school the following term), I caught him carrying my DVD player to his car. :lookarnd:

I've had lots of things swiped from me over the years... the most recent would be when my wife and I went to a theater downtown to watch a movie... someone busted my window and swiped my kids dvd player... Pissed me off.
