Is there anyone who writes good slasher stories??? Like old school cool bloody slasher theme-d stuff? Not King or Koontz who write more supernatural horror. Anyone?

IMO Richard Laymon is the best horror writer (that I have found so far at least!)

If you're into comic books at all, you should really check out Hack/Slash. It's very b-horror. I would suggest staying away from the Friday The 13th or Texas Chainsaw Massacre comics though.

unfortunatly good slasher novels are very hard to come by. The comics of Hack/Slash are amazing though, and their available in graphics so deffinatly pick those up. Now its already based on an existing slasher but you should pick up Friday the 13th: Church of the Divine Pyschopath and F13: Hate, Kill, Repeat. They are good. Especially Hate, Kill, Repeat. Thats a very very good book.
