Well I've seen a number of short films that I was going to post here but I decided it would be better just to make a single thread dedicated to the glory that is the short film.
First short film up to bat...
V.A.N. - Violence Amongst Neighbours
(That is how the title is spelled so get off my back. :D )
Simply put, two neighbors who hate each other finally have had enough of the small time petty revenge and the settle their feud in all out bloody battle. Almost like what the Odd Couple would have been like if HG Lewis would have been behind the camera.

The Bitch Is Back
Run Time: 16 minutes
After making sweet sweet love to a blow up doll, the man soon becomes the victim of a vicious cat and mouse game from a killer that only speaks in one-liners from Hollywood movies. Be shocked. Be amazed. Be disgusted, when you find out (in the first few minutes) that the killer is...The blow up doll!
That's right a killer blow up doll movie.

(That's a whole lotta man spooge.)
You'll only be able to find this movie online or through bootleggers, even then it only exists with Dutch subtitles. Don't worry though the movie is in English, so have fun with your friends identifying the movies the blow up doll is quoting.
It is actually a very well done movie, no matter how silly the concept is. Highly recommended.

If I can't find it at some place then I'll just upload it myself. It's only a 70MB file so I should be able to just put it up on a rapidshare site for everyone to enjoy.

Figured I'd add some short films to the list, mine are a little more mainstream but they are classics in the Underground world.
Aftermath/Genesis
http://www.unearthedfilms.com/images/covers/aftermath_cover.jpg
Aftermath: A short film wherein a man working in a morgue mutilates and defiles one of the corpses.
Genesis: A sculptor is traumatized by the death of his wife in a car accident. He builds a sculpture in her memory. As the lifelike sculpture begins to bleed through the cracks of clay, the sculptor's flesh mutates and crumbles away..
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Genesis is my favorite out of the two because it's simply on of the most beautiful and haunting things ever to be put on film. When I watched it with a friend we were speechless and glued to the screen.
Aftermath on the other hand, while still being beautifully shot, is a grisly look at what happens after someone dies. What happens when you are no longer in control and are at the hands of a very sick man. Definitely a great one to show to your friends who want to messed up stuff.

Genesis is hands down my favorite movie all time, such a beautiful and perfect film. No matter how many times I watch it, it never fails to be any less amazing than the first time I saw it.

I'll See You In My Dreams
Run Time: 20 minutes
The movie is set in a small rural town that is haunted by the undead. Only one man seems to be able to stop them, and that is Lúcio, a worker whose wife recently turned into a zombie, forcing him to keep her locked in the basement. In a local tavern he finds a second shot at true love, but this blooming romance is threatened by the situation plaguing the town.

Moonspell - "I'll See You In My Dreams" (Theme Song/Music Video - features more zombie action)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_RdYmK90O0
----------------------
You can either buy this short film on a DVD collection called "Small Gauge Trauma" or you can view it for free on YouTube.
This is a zombie short from Portugal (sorry folks, that means subtitles) and while not intended to be campy or cheesy it does have a tongue-in cheek sense of humor to it. It also finds inspiration from Sam Raimi and Evil Dead, more specifically Army of Darkness and the Bruce Campbell's character Ash.
The lead is the same anti-hero that Ash is, a down and outer who is really only concerned about saving himself and later in the movie getting laid. There are several scenes that you'll find to be a little similar in execution to scenes from AOD.
All in all though, a very well made and very well shot zombie movie from the up and comer Miguel Angel Vivas and I'm looking forward to when he jumps on making a feature length horror movie.

Nekro
Run Time: 15 minutes
http://i29.tinypic.com/1zx7hns.jpg
A mixture of hardcore explicit sex mixed with brutal and graphic violence as a man drags home some helpless woman only to kill and rape her, though even in death she can't escape the atrocities that are about fall upon her and her body.
---------------------
I really can't post any screen caps since most image hosting sites won't host images like these or they won't for very long so I don't want to go through the effort of getting the images only for them to be taken down.
I know right off the bat alot of people aren't going to take this short film very seriously because of the audio that was produced for it. The killer in the movie is given a very devilish-demonic growl and guttural noises through out the film. While it doesn't really detract from the nastiness that is on screen, it might for some. Then some of the sound effects used when the killer is raping the poor girl and defiling the corpse, the squishy sound effects used sound a little out of place for my liking.
Other than the movie is very nasty. In the 15 minutes it actually manages to accomplish what Eli Roth failed to do with two feature length movies and big ass budget. The death gruesome and far from being 'pretty', the girl playing the victim does a believable job and there is just something very nasty about a man fucking a womans innards.
Recommended if you are looking for something as graphic as say the August Underground movies.
While Mick Nards production partner denounced the other two In Hell Production movies, "Six Pack That Bitch" and "Don't Go In The Fucking Woods" as only being nothing more than trailers. The films were infact made and I'm working on getting ahold of some copies myself.
I'm gonna have to check out Genesis now.

---------------------------------------------------
A vicious, well made horror/experimental film from the Netherlands.
I was lucky enough to get a screener sent to me by the director, and I was very pleased with what I saw.
First off, while the movies plot does revolve around the friend getting revenge by torturing the killer to death it's only a small portion of the film. You get to see the killers tongue cut out, his groin smashed with a sledge hammer and his leg sawed off with a chainsaw. For an amature effort both in terms of filmmaking and effects, these scene are very well pulled off especially the tongue scene, they don't look cheesy or cheap.
Then there is the execution of the story. They took a very interesting approach with the short and played it in reverse chronological order (not original I know but still unique) so we get slammed with the horrors of the torture and the end of the madness. Then slowly we have the events explained to us as to why we just watched what we just did. Also I give them credit for using objects around their locations to use as transitions between scenes, very well pulled off.
A recommended short film that was recently upped at Cinemageddon, if you enjoyed it though then feel free to order the Limited Edition DVD and help pay for the groups next project "The Last Silver."
A sneak peak at The Last Silver...

Gotta mention Family Portraits: A Trilogy of America which consists of three of the sickest and craziest short films I've ever seen.
http://www.videomatica.com/images/fronts/f50465.jpg
Cutting Moments: Equal parts Ingmar Bergman chamber piece and B-movie exploitation gorefest,Douglas Buck's acclaimed breakthough follows a troubled family's harrowing descent into incest, self-mutilation and murder.
Home: Acting as both pseudo-sequel to, and remake of, Cutting Moments, Buck's follow-up changes the focus from the matriarch to the father... or, more fittingly, the many fathers... and the sins they pass down. Eschews explicit violence for a more psychological approach, to a no less harrowing result.
Prologue: Buck's reflective and somber denouement to the trilogy tells the tale of a young teenage girl, brutally attacked just one year before, returning to her hometown where she will confront her attacker.
synopsis from: http://www.glasseyepix.com/html/buckmain.html
Cutting Moments is definitely insane and sickening with one scene where the woman goes to extreme measures to take her lipstick off. One tool of choice is a scouring pad and the other, well...
The most memorable film for me though is Prologue in which is probably one of the most disturbing and creepy horror films ever. It's not gory but the story is definitely scary and deeply unsettling.

I still haven't seen Home or Prologue yet. Though I have seen Cutting Moments from when Alternative Cinema released the Cutting Moments VHS tape, that contained that movie aswell as several other shorts.
Cutting Moments is indeed a gross little flick, showing that it took a woman to the extremes of self mutilation to get her husband to notice her. Not a pleasant moment in that, especially when they start to mutilate each other.
I'm looking forward to Douglas Buck's remake of Sisters, I've read that its really good.

Bio Therapy
Run Time: 38 minutes
http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/899/Biotherapy.jpg
The version I watched didn't have subtitles so what I could gather is that. An alien in disguise is on earth and isn't very happy, about the research/experiments that a small group of scientists are performing so naturally he goes on a blood filled rampage.

You can get this movie through bootlegs via download or you can buy the DVD of it, unfortunately neither one has English subtitles available. The bootleg site Nightcrew Video use to have a fan subbed version but apparently not any more.
----------------------------------------------------
Something else I saw years ago so my memory is a little shady and I no longer have the VHS tape that had the movie on it.
It is a very gory short film and contains a favorite death scene of mine (the 3rd pic) of a female scientist getting stabbed with test tubes having blood poor out of them like a faucet. There is also a scene where a man gets his teeth broken out with a barrel of a gun before being shot which as you can tell by the pics is also very well done.
There isn't much to say about this really other than its worth checking out if you are just looking for gore.

A short film from England that is one hell of a bloody good time. Imagen, Evil Dead with hamsters and you'll be pretty close to what Night of the Hell Hamsters is all about. Not much in the way of gore except for the girls boyfriend's groin becoming hamster food, and then a couple squished demonic hamsters.
Best part in the whole short is hearing one of the hamsters say, "Your boyfriend sucks cocks in hell."
Imagen one of the chipmunks from Alvin and the Chipmunks saying that, with a British accent. Absolutely check out this short if you can.

Aftermath and Genesis are great shorts. Genesis is all the more effective when you watch it right after Aftermath in a back-to-back sort of thing. It's amazing how night and day the two shorts are. Nacho Cerda did a fantastic job.
Douglas Buck's shorts are great, especially Cutting Moments. However, Prologue is excellent as well and Home is pretty good.

Those last you've posted look ultra keen.
I'll throw out a few titles, courtesy de Espana (off the top of my head):
Ciclo (2002) - just watch
La Cabina (1972) - ol' BBC weasels seem to remember this one.
Mirindas Asesinas (1991) - Alex de la Iglesia(one of my favorite die-rectors) created this one. It's all about the black comedy - funny as fekt. Madman walks into a bar and asks for a mirinda beverage - then the hilarity ensues.
Noe's Carne(France) is a compelling watch, too.

(I'd say about 95% of the movie was shot on a green screen) Plus it has a good number of cool looking creature designs.
I loved it...I love it. Yes! I love it

wrong thread?
No man you're good, don't worry about it.
I've just expressed my own disinterest in Treevenge several times, so that's all the smiley was indicating.

Jim Van Bebber Released a box set of his flicks that included some short films he did. A couple of note were pretty good.
My Sweet Satan: About an Acid peddler who takes revenge on an ungrateful follower.(approx 20 minutes)
Roadkill:The last days of John Martin: Follows an Ed Gein-type recluse in a strange slice of life. (approx 10 Minutes)
If you haven't Seen Van Bebber's full lenght The Manson Family...giddy up.

HARMONY KORINE'S "UMSHINI WAM"
Yes, it is every bit as strange as you think it's going to be.
Yolandi Visser and Ninja from frequently bizarre South African rap act Die Antwoord star in Umshini Wam, a new short film from director Harmony Korine. Korine, in his own way, is every bit as bizarre as his stars and the results are typically odd.
Prepare yourself to witness the two South Africans rolling around in wheelchairs while clad in fun fur animal costumes before indulging in a ludicrously large joint and the discharge of fully automatic firearms. The complete short is below.
