City of ROTT (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0839762/)
I recently rented this movie from my local Hollywood video-store, I can't say I was terribly impressed with the story, but the animation was phenomenal for being done all by the same person. Frank Sudol wrote, directed, starred, animated and did all the art for this movie, which alone is a spectacular feat. Unfortunately the movie's story is pretty bad and I found myself fast-forwarding through most of it after the first half was over. Has anyone else heard of this one, it's cool because it's cartoon zombies!

Nothing wrong with City of Rott's story. May not be the most exciting story in the world but its pretty goddamn far from being terrible. Plus it brought a unique spin on the zombie mythology and created a very 'doomed' sensation when you considered how the people became zombies.
A very well done animated movie that was nothing but a solo project for Frank. The only complaints if I were to make any would have been the repetitive kill scenes and zombies. Although obviously Frank had to cut some corners so it's nothing that I would say to take away from this excellent movie.
Not to mention that it is no secret that Frank tacked on an additional 20 minutes to the movie to add more gore to it, so if any issues come up with the story its probably from that.

I thought it was great. I think that it is pretty much what Sudol wanted it to be.

Don't know, hasn't been released yet. I haven't even read any reviews for it yet either. If you go to the web site for Dead Fury, the creator/director Frank addresses the concern people have with the story and development of it in a Q&A session.

I blind bought it. It was ok, but a little slow.

I thought this was fun. I agree he clearly put alot of work into it. It was a bit repedative but worth a watch for zombie fans for sure.

I also enjoyed it. I agree that at times it became slow and repetitive but it was a great idea and you can tell how much work went into putting it together.
