I know this isn't my forum but please try to provide a little more information (I know that sounds funny coming from me after that Bio Therapy debacle) or try to elaborate more on the movie other than just 'its awesome.'

Remember this is a forum section that is about the unknown and the obscure here, so most people here haven't seen these movies and as such should be told why they are good or not so good. Even if it means doing what I do some of the time and getting the pics from various sources and locations, every little bit helps.

Anyways...

Violent Shit

Karl Shitter (classy, Andy… real classy) is a troubled boy who doesn’t get along well with his mother. One day, he comes home late from playing in a marshy field, and Mom threatens to punish him. That’s when Karl chops her up with a meat cleaver.
20 years later, young Mr. Shitter has grown up to be a serial killer popularly known as Karl the Butcher (Schnaas himself, who can also be seen acting in Anthropophagous 2000 and Demon-Terror). A trio of men who we would never imagine to be police officers were it not for the word “Polizei” stenciled on the side of their Volkswagen Microbus are driving him through the countryside, presumably transferring him to another prison or mental hospital or whatever. In the absolute middle of fucking nowhere, the driver stops the van, for his bladder will never make it to wherever they’re going in one piece. This, inevitably, is Karl’s cue to go berserk, kill his other two escorts, and then ambush the third when he returns from his urinary interlude. For the next hour and change, Karl will wander the land clutching a patently phony cleaver (the ludicrous size of which seems hilariously to suggest that the cleaver from the prologue scene has grown up right along with its user), waylaying and dismembering anyone and everyone he comes across— hitchhikers, landscapers, college girls, middle-aged drunks— becoming steadily uglier and more deformed with each kill he makes.

The Violent Shit movies are shot on video (VHS) and are just some of the most balls-out gore fests you will ever see. With that though, they are very cheesy movies, the gore is fantastic Schnaas does an amazing job its just that everything else in the movie is pretty much left to be desired. Absolutely entertaining though.

These are German movies and finding subtitled copies are very hard but the good news is Synapse Films is suppose to be releasing the movies this year.

Hopefully Metapher will reply to the thread as he is an Andreas Schnaas fan.

You rang?

Yeah, Schnaas is awesome.

This Violent Shit is great, but Violent Shit 2 is a real masterpiece, I wanna hump that movie!

About time some people start hearing about his flicks :D

he did provide an imdb link.

Yeah he did but IMDB only goes so far. I just would like to see more effort put into a thread though than just an IMDB link and saying "it awesome."

I mean look at Metapher's thread on Blood of the Beasts, not much there but he gave plenty of info that let people know what kind of movie it was, what to expect and where to find it at.

Granted it might be hard to want to put a whole lot of effort into a thread when the discussion is only going be by a few people but like I gave my reasonings before. If people can, try to post as much info as possible. Pics aren't necessary but I think they are very helpful to give people the idea of quality that they are going to expect with a movie.

For example, with the Violent Shit movies one major note that should have been made was the rarity of getting ahold of a subtitled copy. By bootleg or other.

I'm not trying to rag on DB or bust on him or anything else. Just saying why these threads need to be handled differently than in regular horror or non horror.

This is just how I see things though, like I said this isn't my forum so dead breed could just tell me to go fuck myself and post whatever he wants to.

These movies are everywhere. A torrent search should probably turn up quite a few hits but if you want specific sites, try T3 and cinemageddon.

I can appreciate that.

Plus it's nice to see some new threads pop up in UH that don't have my name underneath them.

This looks great. I fucking love the fact people make all of these movies with such a small budget and still make it graphic and fun. I'm downloading it as we speak and will report back as soon as its done. Also on the topic of effort on posts, from a readers standpoint it is fucking crucial. Even if it is a quoted plot synopsis from IMDB, along with two or three sentences of what you liked about or disliked about the movie goes a long way. If I jump in a thread and first post is just,

[imdb link]
Pretty sweet flick.

I hit the back button because, why invest time my time in a thread constructing a reply when chances are the original poster doesn't put half the effort in his post? I spend more time in this forum than others because of the quality posts. Also Deadbreed this isnt aimed at you because you have made some quality threads in here and have been a good contributor to the site all around. Anyways, good find, if it wasn't for this thread I wouldn't be subjected to this gore. :coolbeer:

EDIT: Holy shit there is a third one, I only thought there were 2 of them.
DOUBLE EDIT: Holy shit there is a fourth one.

Here is a link to a bunch of screencaps: http://img114.imageshack.us/my.php?image=90476939tu1al3.jpg

A viscous Romanian warrior (Niko) is inadvertently brought back to life during a pish-posh art gallery opening in New York. Exactly who is at the party doesn't really matter, what does matter is that everyone at the party is sliced and diced to bits, except for a few hopefuls who manage to make it out alive, with Nikos right behind them. The carnage spills onto the streets of New York eventually taking us to a movie theater and a video store. The body count is quite large (and story nonsensical) as Nikos takes care of anybody that crosses his path. Towards the end there's even some sort of ceremony that takes place that involves Nikos, a sexy vampire dame, some ninjas and Hitler!

Nikos the Impaler is my favorite flick out of the four. It gets a little weird at times, like when he Niko's brings a bunch of horror movie characters to life but Schnaas I think was at the top of his game with this one.(Meta will probably disagree with me there :D ) Improved quality (went from VHS to DV) in terms of story, acting and even gore. He has always had good gore and effects but they are even better here.

Nikos is a fun movie, it's probably my second favorite of his movies.
Like you said, his effects have always been awesome, but with Nikos, the rest is getting good too.

I have the Violent Shit trilogy, Nikos and Demonium signed by him, with "To Ronny" on them :D Just had to say it :wideeye:
