More and more I'm noticing shitty calls in baseball that announcers in the booths set straight in seconds, and think it would be a great idea. How do you guys feel about it? I know I'm going to hear alot of "it will only slow games down more" and "baseball has been fine this long without it, why bring it in now?" comments. I think with an ump in a booth that has access to all cameras, it wouldnt add more than 2 minutes to any given game. Opinions?

I don't think it would hurt. Yeah, it would drag out that game more but it's better to make sure on tough calls. Especially when you dealing with bias people. Of course, you do have the risk of this being abused, which would result in a lot of people becoming pissed off and tired.

why not if its in basketball and football there should be no harm in having instant replay in baseball.

No! Not for the regular season. It will drag the game out,and as much as I love Baseball I dont want to watch it for 5 hours.
Playoffs and series would be OK.

I'm against it in every aspect except maybe helping in deciding a fair vs. foul ball.

They make the wrong calls despite instant replay all the time. The games aren't as fair as they once were. Doubt it would improve baseball.

Against it. Umpires are right most of the time and it would only be necessary when a ball was very close to the foul pole.

should be in every sport. teams shouldn't be penalized because of a blind ref.

Im for it but only homeruns that could be fair/foul.
You start slowing down the game of baseball. People are gonna be pissed, take a look at how long games the Sox/Yanks play. Sometimes they max out at near 4 hours and they've played games longer than that.
At one point, the game needs to move along without interruption. I know as fans we all love to cry refs this and refs that, me included however im for the interest of not keeping fans unsatisfied with longass games either.
