...and do you like it?
I like mine but I'm already past the "WOW!" phase and am wondering if it's worth the extra money just to have a HD box.
For football and baseball games it's great...some sci-fi movies as well. But the classics in B&W, contemporary dramas, and sitcoms really don't demand a HD signal from me. I don't know if it's worth it anymore. How do you feel?

When I was back home I had it. I feel the same way you do. I absolutely LOVE it when sports is on and some shows like The Office,The Deadliest Catch, and The First 48 but really the majority of the programming right now has no use for HD. I got rid of mine because the HD channels they gave me were just for the awe factor and really had no use afterward. When they start making a lot more channels available for HD then I'll switch back but for right now I'll stick to my upconverted dvds for my HD fix.

Depends on how much TV you watch really, not really worth it otherwise. I don't watch much TV, but my GF does, but it's not always necessarily HD. Sometimes I think it might be a waste of money, but I like having the option of clearer picture if there's something I'm interested on, which is why I've kept mine so far.

I got high-def. The "wow" factor is still there for me, but that's probably because I don't watch TV much since I'm always either working or going out. My cable company has a sweet line-up of HD channels so when I do have time to watch I got a lot to choose from.

I got IO digital cable. Optimum's got a deal where you get IO digital cable (220 channels with 45 HD channels), Optimum Online (super-fast internet connection), and Optimum Voice for $29.99 each per month if you get all three. Not a bad deal.

Fuck HDTV, if I want a higher resolution image, I'll just sit closer to the tv screen.
Course since I stopped watching tv, I just youtube my entertainment.

I had my comp hooked up to my old 42-inch plasma for a short while, but it hurt my eyes after a while, but then again I probably need glasses anyway. :shrugs:

I've never had it before but i do have an HDTV LCD TV which give's me a few channel's in HD due to having an HD Tuner in my TV but i don't have all channel's in HD which is what i want so i'm hoping to get it sometime down the road. I just don't know who to get i want to try Fios but it's not in our area as far as i know which is dumb cause i know someone who said he can get it and he's just down and around the road from me.

I hear good things about FIOS. I would probably try it out, but I'm already set up with cable and rather not deal with the hassle of switching over.

Fios is the shit. Cheaper than TWC to make it all even sweeter.

I have my 42" LCD hooked up with my comp and I love it. I have a wireless mouse and keyboard so I don't have to sit right up on it. It's great especially if I want to watch something on Watch-movies it gives me a bigger screen.

I think I need glasses cuz small things from a distance come out fuzzy for me, which was why I'd get a headache starring at the screen for a while, especially when looking at small icons for a game or something. Only plus is the easy access to watching films, like scott stated.

Can't say its worth it to recommend it to people but I personally have multiple HDTVs (3 Samsungs, 1 Sharp) and paying for HD service. There is a big difference to me and I always pick the HD version. As for my PC, I use a 23" Samsung 8000:1, 2ms. I can't use large monitors and running 1680x1050 is enough for me
