Moving to new house, UHM put on pause

As many may already know, I've been in the process of getting a new home for the past few months and we finally officially closed recently and picked up the keys today, which means we'll be moving over the weekend.

I don't know how long it will take before I get internet access in the new house, so UHM will be put on hold until then. I'll likely still be able to check what's going on around the board if I go to a friend's or something, but won't actually be able to do updates until I have my own ISP. I can only assume that will be sometime mid-next week. :shrugs:

i hear that, but it is a good feeling knowing that when you write out that check each month you are paying for something that is YOURS, not something that you are pretty much borrowing for the time being. plus you can do pretty much what ever you want to your house.

oh that has happened like twice the past month. one fell down and took out the swingset so we cleaned it up and moved the swingset so we could take it to the dump. on monday another one fell and took it out again. i wish it would have taken out the camper instead.

oh yeah fright, make sure you have a big enough garage for all your stuff. we built one last year (2 car garage, extra long so the old man could have room for a shop and his motorcycle) and its still not big enough.

It hasn't happened in my yard yet. I have a small backyard. But most of the trees back there have cracks all over the place. So I'm worried that one day, one's gonna fall on my house. :eek1:

We have a few trees, but they're all pretty small for the time being :ahheh:

We also have a two-car garage and we're hoping to put some gym equipment in there along with our car.

Change of plans -- UHM will resume its usual updates. I'm leaving my computer here at my old house until the net is activated in my new one on Thursday, so I'll be able to update whenever I drop by here, which should be every day :thumbup:

I finally got the net up and running today. I don't have a computer desk and I'm still in the process of getting furniture for the house. We're replacing the front door and adding a security door in the back, along with some new locks.

Set up Brinks, but nothing has been installed yet until we get a home phone line, so I need to work on that. Other than that, everything is pretty good. Already like my DirectTV better than Dish Network for numerous reasons.

I should be able to resume regular updates by Monday, while I spend most of Sunday trying to catch up on everything I've missed. :thumbup:
