Okay, a little ethics!

I'm a broke college student with a lot of debt so I'm taking the money. Any dumb bastard that leaves a suitcase full of money deserves to lose it. So A with a bit of B.

FIRST I would make sure there's no damn tracking device hidden somewhere in it... seen many a movie where that came back and bit someone in the ass...

THEN I'd see how much money is in the case... and I'd use it sparingly, never drawing attention to the fact I've had a windfall. Use it to pay for my dinners out, the toys I want to buy, movies and shit... use my normal income to pay for the bills and NEVER put the money I found in any kind of bank or any place that it can be actually traced or tallied.

I'd help out my friends, family and whoever I feel needs it, but only to the extent that it doesn't look like I'm going above my normal means... tis better to keep helping a little here and there for years than to help a bunch all at once and get yourself boned.

Althought, like Warbeast said, there would be some hesitancy just picking it up and walking away with it. For all I know, someone who might have deliberately planted the suitcase (like the police) might be watching me and ready to attack when I take off with the suitcase. :hmmm:

Same here. I mean, I don't waste money on frivolous things, but once in a while I feel I deserve a treat. Something for myself. And of course I'd give to family. I have relatives on my mom's side that are worse off than I am.

I wouldn't bother with ethics.

First, I wouldn't even be digging through some stranger's suitcase. If there is a closed suitcase laying around, then it sucks to be the guy who left it there. I would not want or care to know if it had money, clothes, important legal documents, cool prototypes of new technology or sleazy fetish porn inside.

Assuming it was open, I feel confident that someone would have looted it before my travels led to it. On the off chance that the suitcase was open, undiscovered, and brimming with cash, I would kick the damn thing shut and move on. That would at least give our guy a sporting chance.
